Don’t believe we would have even noticed the place if it wasn’t for Google. We love to try new places and since we were in the area and seen some great reviews for here, we thought we’d give it a shot. Was definitely pleasantly surprised! The outside is a little misleading but the food was hot & delicious, great sized portions, and the service was great. Neat little diner and everyone was very nice. The waitress gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint. Took home left overs because of the portion sizes which was wonderful. We’ll definitely have to stop here again especially for the Goetta bites!

I don’t know why it was never on my radar, but I’m sure glad we googled diners after hiking, cuz this little place is a gem! Delicious, perfectly prepared home-cooked dinners (open-faced roast beef for me, liver and onions for Hubs). Super service with a smile from Chelsea, and some free entertainment as a couple of guys quickly realized their attempt at the biscuit and gravy bowl challenge would fall sorely short of success. We will definitely be back next time we’re over this way!

I don’t get to go here as much as I would like to but then again I don’t eat out too often. When I do get the chance I always choose Howie’s because the service is spectacular and the food is always amazingly on point! Never a dull moment and never disappointed!! I suggest the mega omelet.. my personal favorite!!

Monday night! Short staffed but the staff that was there did very well. The lady was running the cash register and dining room as well as bagging Togo orders and thanking every customer for there patience. She was working hard and very nice. The kitchen staff was also bussing tables and helping her out while cooking.

We have stopped here and ate three different times. To say I haven’t been impressed with the food, service, or cleanliness of the place, any of the chances we’ve given it is being courteous. I also think it toes the line of begging and is a horrible look when they ring you up, and after telling you the total, they ask if you are going to tip the waitress. Makes me want to go back to the table and get the tip I already left.

It is a ok 24 hr dinner basic food service staff is distracted at times chatting in the back or out front smoking best chicken dinner was very bland gravy on the mashed potatoes was basic seemed watered down salad was the best item it was fresh. Homemade chili had a tart taste.

Cozy, hole in the wall diner, with a very local feel, despite being a truck stop. I rolled in and got a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch to go. The waitress was really nice and helpful. My sandwich was actually really good, juicy and seasoned nicely, despite it taking kind of a long time to be completed. There were also very little fries, maybe a small handful, but the price was right so I’m not complaining.
