The food quality and service in my experience hasn’t been consistent. One visit, the food will be good but the next time not. I’ve had great chicken tenders and ribs from here from time to time but have also gotten salads that were full of water in the bottom of my bowl, to the point that it diluted the ranch dressing which isn’t easy to do. I ordered macaroni and cheese as a side and was disappointed to see that it was clearly box macaroni and cheese. So for me, it’s hit or miss but I understand when attached to a casino, food quality isn’t going to be the priority or main draw, however with few sit down eating establishments in the area, they could really tap into a wider clientele by making themselves and their food service top notch.

Food was the most EXCELLENT!!! Chicken Fried Steak was superb!! Fried Pickles w/Ranch and Chips w/blue cheese dipping sauce was better than I had expected. If I could rate them 10 ‘s, I would. The staff was wonderful and the service time was great!!! I will be making future visit yo Howler’s. One of the best food services around. Once again, excellent food and service!!

We went there to eat and ended up spending a couple of bucks in the slots, it took them about five minutes before they seated us at a table even though they had multiple tables and booths open. Sat there for another 10 minutes before they got our drink order, 10 more minutes in order for them to get our food order, and ended up taking 42 minutes before our food arrived at the table. And it was nothing complex to burgers with fries and onion rings. Burgers were kind of dry, onion rings had absolutely no flavor, but the french fries and the ranch were very good. We hollered at our server multiple times and tried to flag her down to get another order of fries and after sitting there for 20 minutes trying to get her attention not to mention the fact that 20 minutes have gone by and she had not checked on our table once, finally she comes to our table and asks us if we’re ready for our ticket and we tell her know that we would like some more Ranch, took 15 minutes before the ranch came. Extremely disappointed in the howlers famous barbecue restaurant. Our ticket did not add up because to Burgers later our ticket was $30 but the special for the night was a burger and side for $5.99. Will not be eating here again.

Had a great time. The food was great the beer was cold. The server was super friendly and helpful. I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly my husband had the burnt ends and he loved them. The cheese fries where great. Only down fall was the gave you the smallest cup of there mac and cheese. It was good i just wish it was a bigger size. Other than that thus place was awesome and we will definitely be back.

I stopped by today and had the chicken fried steak and i was surprised at the size and quality, this was one of the best chicken fried steaks i have had in a long time and the best part was it was not all seasoned up ( most places put so much seasoning in the batter/ flour that it takes away from the dish) it was like i do it at home, and the size was a good size portion i was so impressed i took pictures ( i will try to post them ) it comes with two sides i had a salad and baked beans the salad bar was quite small and the side of baked beans was also small but the chicken fried steak was by far the star, i know that your probably thinking chicken fried steak at a barbecue place but yes! I will say if i am ever in the mood for chicken fried steak i will definitely make the 36 mile drive.

The reviews don’t lie. The BBQ is absolutely delicious! I had the chopped brisket with hot BBQ sauce. Nice flavor with almost no gristle. Simple French fries with a pickle on the side for less than $10.

The food was okay, some was room temp when it came out. Service was a little slow but not bad. The worst was the whole place is saturated in cigarette smoke. It is connected to the casino, with no wall to separate it from the restaurant. Definitely won’t be back. If that bothers you at all, avoid this place, it’s terrible.

Been here twice both times were horrible. A year a part. Service is horrible. The waitress literally threw our food on the table. Never check on us. Never refilled drinks. Then threw the check at us over the table of dishes. The food was nasty. I ordered pulled pork. It wasn’t even pulled it was chunked. The bbq was a quarter full and wouldn’t even come out we ended up cutting the tip off of it with a pocket knife because we couldn’t get the attention of a st staff member. And how do you mess up a baked potato? Or mac and cheese? It’s sad when a child will not eat your mac and cheese. Will never go back. Disgusting at the way we have treated and the way the food is.
