This is a fantastic Chinese food experience for a fantastic price. Look at all this you get for $11 any time of the day. Friendly and speedy service and plenty of options to choose from their “pick 3 entrees” ordering system. Will definitely be going here regularly. You’d be silly to choose a similar spot nearby over Hua Cheng.

It’s really a surprise (good) to us that we found really decent authentic Chinese food at China Xiang in Manhattan while almost every friend told me the best Chinese food is in China Town or Flushing (we tried 2 restaurants with 4.5+ rate, neither impressed us). Now, I’ll have to disagree with them. The most precious matter we enjoyed is the detail attention the chef dedicated to the food. Authetic Chinese fried rice and soup are 2 dishes show the true expertise and skills of a chef. They are so common and most of Chinese families make them often but could not make them well tasted as an experienced chef makes, but both of them are made very well here.

I am from out of town. But now reside in the Hells Kitchen area. I had stumbled upon this beautiful location with affordable prices and quite nice hospitality. Stop by, be sure to beat rush hour that would be terrific.

Staff was a little rude when we walked in. Food was good, not much room to dine in but it worked. Don’t make the same mistake we did, they serve you the food, you don’t serve yourself (you’ll understand what I mean when you walk in)

My family and I were looking for a quick lunch and the good Google reviews led us to Hua Cheng. I agree with what everyone is saying: friendly staff, good and fresh food, and very affordable!

Amazing value, very clean inside, and the employees are super attentive. I’ve never had to wait which is a bonus! Bring cash if you can, it helps the restaurants combat the fees that get taken off credit card transactions. I’ve seen another Chinese place nearby close recently so I do what I can to help. The food is excellent on top of the value. 100% recommend this spot.

Waited to write a review to make sure my first two experiences weren’t a fluke. I would rather go to Chinatown or Flushing for most things but needed a quick fix. The team here are kind! Think about it, that is the first thing I’m saying about this place. They are friendly and helpful and give great customer service! I don’t give out starts for fun so this place has earned it from me. Now onto the food. All three times the food has been fresh and tasty. My hot and sour soup was made to order and tasted like I had just ordered from Chinatown. One of my visits, order didn’t come with a soda but they offered me one. I asked for extra spicy and no mushrooms (allergic) and they washed the utensils down! It meant a lot to me because they are small and we’re busy. I don’t like giving praise cause then someone might come mess it up for the rest of us, but I’m really glad they opened and wish them all the success!

I did the $10 meal. The lady fills the container for you. She scooped in a ton of rice then put barely any chicken in. It was pretty sad for $10, there’s a better place a few blocks down.
