Stopped here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. In addition to their large regular menu, they have a daily specials menu. I had a simple half chicken salad sandwich, which included a cup of soup. Both were quite good. I tend to feel that restaurant soup is generally too salty and the Chicken & Orzo soup I had was good! This diner building originally was built for a Bob Evans restaurant, so it’s still has their same general layout and vibe. The Diner was clean, pleasantly decorated, food was delivered quickly, and appetizing desserts were on display. My only negative comment would be the one booth where we sat had damaged seat vinyl which made it a little scratchy and uncomfortable if you’re wearing shorts. We will definitely be returning.

Hub city diner surprised me. The breakfast has been pretty good. I’ve had the French toast. It was much better than expected. The food comes out hot and fast. We were sat right away. The staff is very friendly. Great little diner

Great comfort food. Really tasty…orders the Rachel and got baked potato instead of fries. Hot fresh delicious. My mother ordered a mushroom swiss omlet and grits. Love it. Great polite servers. Thank you.

Went for breakfast and was super excited we could order lunch or dinner if we wanted. So we did! We got disco fries, a grilled chicken sandwich and the monte Cristo. Everything was delicious. Hostess was super sweet and friendly.

If you like fish , then you have to try their broiled fresh haddock ! I had it on Father’s day and it was to kill for ! Fabulously fantastic ! The pic of the broiled fresh haddock is when I was half done with my meal !

The sausage gravy they use did not taste like any I’ve had before…. on my BURNT country fried steak and couldn’t even finish my instant mashed potatoes. Others in my group had no problems with their food, so just a bad choice, then possibly.

We had just checked into Home 2 Suites for the night and had asked the front desk where there was a good place to eat. They said Hub City Diner. So off we went. Our dinner was excellent. You couldn’t ask for a better staff. Very clean restaurant and would definitely return when we are back in the area.
