Super friendly and attentive wait staff, motivated and talented cook, and great nostalgic atmosphere. Ever time I visit our Scott, LA office, I dine here. It is worth getting off of the I-10 Interstate for a quick bite, that will please the family, in a family friendly, and safe place to eat. Pictured is the MVT. With bottomless coffee and tax came to $16.10. This could feed 4 easily.

We came here twice in a week while on vacation. The first night, it was around 8:30pm, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Our waitress was Keri, and she was amazing. Assuming it was open 24 hrs, we stayed until a few minutes after 10pm (closing time). She was super polite, and no one was complaining that we were just hanging out, enjoying our food. We went back again a couple days later for lunch. Keri was our waitress again and remembered our drinks and even remembered our previous order and asked if we would like the same thing again. She is super friendly and amazing at her job! The food is great. It’s clean and the service is phenomenal.

I ordered stuffed hashbrowns w/ a side of chocolate chip pancakes & my sneaky link got a BLT w/ sweet potato fries & a pecan waffle. It was all pretty good & filling. The waitress was cool & attentive keeping the atmosphere warm & welcoming. 10/10 today, would recommend if you’re hungry & looking for grub.

Can’t beat Huddle House while in Scott area. The garden omelette was so fresh. My brother had biscuits and gravy and they were hard but they quickly replaced them with some that were super soft. I’ve been going here for years and it’s always a family type atmosphere.

Stood there as every single waitress walked by us… making eye contact and never acknowledging us standing there. I get being short staffed, but still be polite when customers walk into your place of business. Then more customers came in and were greeted about the wait, but not us. I said well they didn’t greet us and the black waitress mouthed as we were walking out “Y’all be alright.” That is the most ghetto and rude thing ever!!! DO BETTER!!!

Stopped by Huddle House for a quick breakfast while traveling. I got their scramble bowl. Upon opening the presentation was nice but oh boy…dig a little deeper and there were charred or burned pieces throughout my breakfast bowl. I’m assuming the steak in this bowl got charred and instead of remaking it they just scooped it in the bowl and covered it with sauce. Had I not been traveling and discovered this earlier, I would have taken it back and requested a refund. It’s hard to get the taste of burned anything out of your mouth and this was no exception. In addition the order was way beyond its pick up time so I waited for something I couldn’t even eat in the end. My husband recommended this place as he travels more than I do but for me this was a bad experience. I will give them credit for having a clean establishment, restrooms included.
