Hudson’s is probably the best restaurant in Iowa, and one of the best restaurants out there. Down to the fine details, there is so much delicious flavor in the food. The shrimp po boy is the best thing on the menu in my opinion. But, they have phenomenal ranch to go with delicious fries and delectable Moscow mules. One nice option is the ability to change a burger for a chicken patty on their sandwiches. In addition to the wonderful food, there is a very cute atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant. The whole experience is awesome and I cannot even describe the awesomeness my experience every time I visit. I always come here when I want some good food.

Had a late arrival due to school sports. Got there at 8:20 and they closed at 9. The service was still on point regardless. Server was nice and prompt. Being the first time visit I tried a few things. I ordered the wings with the siracha soy sauce. It was crispy and juicy and well sauced. Also ordered the Cajun Mac and cheese. The sauce was creamy but not overwhelming. The vegetables were crisp and the andouille had the right amount of spice. Also ordered the Iowa poutine. The fries were crispy but fluffy, the gravy was hearty, and the pulled pork was tender and flavorful. For dessert I got the bread pudding and WOW! A must try soft and velvety and the whipped topping was so good! My friends ordered the bleu cheese burger and the Rueben hot dog and they really enjoyed that as well. Definitely recommend!

Stopped for quick lunch during errand running. We’re met at the front door by a smiling hostes. Seated in a booth of our choice and friendly server appeared within minutes. We ordered drinks and food and it was delivered to us fast. Food was hot, properly cooked and tasted. Been there before and will gladly go many more times.

This is a really sweet little tavern / mostly restaurant. A very worker bee feel to it, lots of posters from the labor movement and just a nice feel of steel and ironworkers and what America used to be made of. Has an outdoor dining area as well. Their cheese curds are to die for. Don’t skip those! Most restaurants offer only Coke or Pepsi products, they offer both. Our food was good, the french fries were of the soggy variety which I’m not a fan of but my dining partner is and she thought they were Great. We were there right at noon and it was pretty busy but after the noon rush was done, we were the only ones in there for a minute. Really cute place. I was very impressed. It was clean as well.

Cute pub, a beer drinker’s paradise. Throwback iron and steel workers’ establishment. Great food, great service. They were super busy when we got there, by the time we left we were the only one of two tables. Didn’t change the service, they were on it. Really cute place. Homey feel.
