We stopped oin for lunch – one 3 piece breaded, one 5 piece sauced. The breaded chicken tasted much better than it looked. It was tender and very tasty especially with the spicy sauce. The sauced was also tasty. The fries were fresh and supper hot. The watermelon iced tea may be what brings me back.

The chicken here is AMAZING ! I fell in love after my first time trying their grilled garlic parmesan tenders on the salad (spring mix, not that cheap iceberg like everyone else uses) I also tried one of the regular tenders and I never thought I would say this but it was almost better than Publix tenders.. Juicier and more flavor.. Of course the size wasn’t as big as publix.. I just wis it wasn’t a 30 minute drive from me! Bring one to Ocala! Please

Very juicy chicken tenders , the best my hubby and I have had. The fries were good and the garlic toast a nice addition. The restaurant was reasonably clean. The staff super friendly and helpful. There was a good variety of dipping sauces. We tried three. The blue cheese dipping sauce was good, the ranch tasted a little off to me although hubby said it was fine. Neither of us liked the garlic Parmesan sauce. We felt the garlic overpowered the taste buds. We will try the Huey Magoos again. This was our first in a Huey’s. Price was good .

The Buffalo chicken sammich I got was 3 large tenders. The chicken is top tier, you can taste the quality. The Buffalo sauce was hot and made me lightly sweat (I eat ghost peppers for fun) but it wasn’t hot hurt level. Very pleasant. The staff was fun and energetic and the meal portion was huge for $10.26.

What a terrible business plan this company has! I cannot believe that I waited a 1/2 an hour for one meal and there was nobody in the drive through and nobody in the store! It was raining and the ceiling was dripping on me. And it was no more than 65°. I will not go there again this place is just not worth it!

Everyone told me this was just like Raising Cane’s – oh, how I beg to differ, and not in a good way! The one good comparison is that the chicken itself was moist and tender, however, there was no seasoning on the chicken. The breading was seasoned, but not the chicken! AND, you cannot just throw a lot of black pepper on something and say it has flavor – all I could taste was black pepper! The remoulade sauce was the same way – nothing but pepper. Raising Cane’s is far superior to Huey Magoo’s. Won’t go back.

Great tasting chicken strips and nice assortment of sauces/dips. Fries and toast were a bit boring, but kinda difficult to make a piece of toast exciting. There was a strange smell in the restaurant (not a bad smell, just strange), which we figured out was coming in from the BBQ restaurant which is in the adjoining portion of the building. I would have rated this restaurant a 5 except the restrooms were in desperate need of cleaning (the restaurant was not very busy during the visit). Will be returning soon.
