Our food was so delicious! It was hot and the portion size was adequate. I had never heard of this place before. I am happy I stopped by. It was so good, we returned to pick up dinner for that evening. The grilled, hand dipped, and lemon pepper sauced tenders were all delicious!! I was so excited, I failed to take pics LOL. I’m anxiously awaiting the opening of the location in Covington.

My girlfriend and I stopped here at this place yesterday and had a late lunch. This was Saturday, July 29, 2023. Price: it was $22 for both of us. And that included drinks. That is about normal for 2023. We had plenty to eat, and the food was absolutely superb. I’ve never had chicken strips that were so tender and juicy. I will definitely be coming back.

Great chicken tender spot that competes with the other “Z” chicken restaurant. Nice selection of preparation methods and sauces. Portions are very generous. I had a 5 piece and my wife had a wrap. Presentation is nice and the food delicious. Fries are a little too salty but probably to most people liking. Good selection of drinks including s watermelon ice tea. Service was very friendly and attentive.

The chicken is actually really good! My only issue is this location will put a toothpick in the sandwich and hide it so you won’t see it. I cut my lip when I ate my sandwich.

This was my 3rd and final attempt with Huey Magoos. First 2x the tenders were delicious! The only thing was the chips were all crumbs. So I decide to give it one more shot with the chips. So, it was literally right before closing. I asked the order taker if they were cooking strips to order this late. She said yes. When I received my food I waited awhile so I assumed that’s why it took a little longer. When I checked my food the chips were perfect but the tenders were like nuggets and they were cold! I asked her why my tenders looked like that she said they had already turned the fryers off. I did ask if they would be fresh and if she had said no I wouldn’t have ordered and would not have been upset. But what I received and what I paid for it was unacceptable. Unfortunately there was no one to answer the phone or a corporate number listed anywhere.

The food is good ! They’re usually pretty consistent in taste and freshness. I absolutely love the Magoos sauce and appreciate the heavy seasoning on the fries. I went inside the building for pick up. They were a little busy( a few cars in the drive-thru), but out of three people behind the counter it took about 3-5 minutes to get acknowledged. I would go back mostly because I love the sauce so much.
