I’ve been here quite a few times but it’s been a very long time. This time was less than underwhelming. First off was the cost… It’s lunchtime on a Monday and this was $22 plus tip. I’ve included a picture for reference… It’s been a long time since I’ve had a $25 lunch that wasn’t in a high end establishment. Not actually sure how it ended up so much since I ordered the 2 meat platter and an iced tea. But now for the main reason of the review… If the food was amazing I wouldn’t be leaving this type of review. But all of the food was barely lukewarm… Barely… And all of it The service was great so for that reason I’ve added a couple of stars. But even if I was charged a fair amount of about $15ish for this the fact that it wasn’t served at an appropriate temp I’d still be less than pleased. Hopefully this was an off day for the food and something was just clicked wrong on the register.

Very very good food! My personal favorites are the riblets, nachos, and the brisket. They have the best chili mustard sauce, and there sweet fire bbq is up there too. Good prices as well, will definitely come back.

dysfunctional Puppies
I went to Heuys for the first time yesterday and ordered 5 sandwiches and a pint of Mac and cheese. They forgot a sandwich and I didn’t notice until I goth home, The sandwiches were super small thank God because they tasted horrible. No one finished any of the food bought. Over $65 down the toilet. Not the drain. The food didn’t sit well with anyone and we’ve all be stuck in the bathrooms. Entire weekend ruined and lots of money wasted.

Bbq sandwiches and sides just ok. Inside of restaurant smelled heavily of frying oil so took our food togo. Seemed like several staff in this small shop but all seemed distracted and as the only customers we felt like we were in the way. One young gal working front counter was courteous.

Whoa… I love BBQ and I travel for work… everywhere I go I look for a BBQ place. Huey’s hit it out of the atmosphere for their Rub flavor and are definitely in my top 5 All-time delicious Bbq’s. Friendly staff and spectacular food made for a great lunch. Can’t wait to come back.

I have ordered carryout now a few different times. For me and my employees. Each time we order 2-4 full rack of ribs, and a few different sides. Each time we ordered we were never not satisfied. The meat was juicy and falling off the bone. Definitely will be coming back!

Got the Rib and meat combo. Has a great smoke flavor, and enjoy the original sauce! One of the few Smokehouse meat places around. Sorry to see they are trying to sell it. Hopefully someone will want to take them up on it and continue their success here in Fremont.

Best BBQ to be had. Try the Husker Sandwich a combo of pulled pork and brisket. Small place, may be 10 tables. Worth the wait or go take out.
