Had the roasted avocado turkey sandwich. It’s the best sandwich around. I’m sure the other sandwiches are very tasty, as well. Not salty or too spicy; just savory. The mac salad is also wonderful. It’s full of all kinds of veggies and a delicious dressing. Onion rings are the best around town. The prices are higher than other sandwich places, but it is so very much worth it. You will not be disappointed.

I’ll start out with Hug-Hes food is amazing- HOWEVER we were very bummed to find out once we had sat down that the famous beer bread with Strawberry bread isn’t included like other locations. It is $3.99 here. We usually go to the one in Centerville but we were in Layton and thought we’d try here. The food was the same great food we’ve come to expect and love. The shoe string fries werey favorite. The Turkey club was divine. The Philly sandwich was so flavorful with au jus. And the chicken tender kids meal is well enough good for an adult!

Wow didn’t think Hugs would be that good when I ordered a regular burger meal to go. I was surprised with the quality and the portion size! Plus they give some sweet snacks on the side to enjoy after your meal. Service to go was ok, only had to wait for around 10 minutes.

The owner was extremely nice and the food portions were massive, everyone had great social skills we didnt like one appitizer and she brought over two small cookies, i didnt realize the cost but every penny was worth it, i wish they had more seating and a better location but overall ill definitely be coming back no matter what. AND THE BREAD WAS SOOOOOOOO GOOD i didnt even see the pasta until i left but ill come back and try it.

I don’t know his name but the man working the front, and answering the phone was extremely helpful. I had tried the cream of chicken soup at a different location yesterday and he recommended the poblano soup, as he said it was similar. And it is even better! The service is impeccable and the food is so savory! With an extra side of sweet with the bread and cookie they provide. This is a wonderful place I usually go for the prime rib dip sandwich but this soup on a cold day is absolutely perfect!!

Hugs is a smaller version of Hu-hes so that means it is awesome! The location is small so you may not always be able to dine-in when ordering, but the foot is delicious and the service is very friendly and polite. It certainly has a small community diner feel to it. This is a great place for lunch as they have sandwiches, salads, a couple burgers along with their fish and chips and some other items. They have a full array of flavorings for your soda, so this really is your one-stop shop! They even have a drive-thru.
