I live in Tomahawk but work in Merrill, having tried many of the great pizza places in Tomahawk I wanted to try what Merrill had so I gave Hugo’s a try. Staff was very friendly I’ll give them that but the pepperoni pizza I ordered was way short of pepperoni counting more than 18 spots void of where another slice could have gone, pepperoni was under cooked as I was looking for a nice cup and char. The cheese pizza could also have had a few more minuets to cook as the crust was under done. Both pizzas were very greasy. See the picture, boxes are swimming in grease, probably from the cheese. I called in my order at 3:30 pm and was told it would be ready at 4:00pm. Didn’t get it until 4:15pm.

The pizza was cut into tiny odd shapes pieces/squares. It wasn’t very good. I spent $41.00 n it was not worth it. Small pizza masquerading as a large…I will never go here again. The server was nice tho, that was the only good part of the experience.

A very good place for pizza. The lasagna is good also. Salads are basic but always fresh and prices are fair. What makes Hugo’s stand out for me is the people who work there. Always friendly, respectful and smiling. You will leave feeling better than before you get there. That kind of service is a rarity lately. They offer dine in and a nice drive thru option for picking up carry out orders. Thumbs up for this very nice local establishment.

Awesome place. I came to visit here from Indiana and I am absolutely jealous of this city to have access to such good pizza. I had a hunter’s and a cowboy pizza along with two others and a salad and it was all amazing. Will be returning for the amazing and friendly service staff and for the delicious pizza the chef makes. 10/10 price was more than fair for the quality.

It should be advertised on their website AND their street sign that they are NOT open for dine-in. We were pretty bummed to arrive there and not have the option to dine-in. I’m sure the pizza is delicious! Just wish we could have enjoyed some. 🙂
