We gave Hui’s a try the other night. We ordered a few chicken dishes and we liked every one we tried. The Kung Bo could be spicier. But overall it was really good. Made quickly. No hassles at all. This place is cash only and there isn’t much parking for take out. Best bet is to get dropped off, have the driver go around the block, then pick you up again.

I ordered a pepper steak and I ordered without peppers and without onion that they did not agree to, to take my container of peppers and onions and 4 pieces of meat, I am so angry, the customer pays for pepper steak not for peppers and onions in sauce

I was obsessed with getting their general tso chicken wings for $5.50. The prices are extremely affordable and I never had an issue before. Until recently I went there and ordered 2 cartons of General Tso chicken wings and every single wing was still pink on the inside. I didn’t bother to complain because Chinese restaurants especially in the hood tend to have a strict no refund or exchange policy. It’s just gross though with all that is going on in the food industry.

General Tso’s was spicey and delicious, fried rice was perfect. I don’t really like the egg rolls here but the rest of the food was surprisingly tasty.

A strange, but wonderful little hole in the wall in North Minneapolis, but ABSOLUTELY worth the trip.

We wanted to try a new Chinese take-out place and we found this little gem here. This place is literally a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, which is what makes it special.

I went into this establishment tonight and order the sweet and sour chicken special (sub the house special fried rice) and asked for the dinner special of four wings w/ chicken fried rice. Also ended my orders with a small spicy chicken fried rice. When I received my orders ( all in boxes and not the plastic containers ) I made a comment about not truly receiving dinner specials like normal. There was another patron ordering his food so I left after making sure all of my orders were there. When I got home and sat my grandson down to eat I discovered. That the small box which should have been his chicken fried rice (cfr) was egg foo young. The four little pieces of wings where fried so hard that it hurt his teeth to bite it. There was a very tiny little box of fried rice and four cold dry wong tons. We don’t eat egg foo young. I will be taking this disgusting food back to the restaurant tomorrow (Saturday 11/11) and they can do what ever they want with it. I can say that if you eat here please do it before 8pm because they give you the left over that are meant for the garbage when you order close to closing time (9pm). It’s a matter of respect. If I respect you enough to still pay your outrageous prices, you should at least respect me enough to give me only what I ordered that’s been properly cooked and packaged!!!!
