We met the owner in the parking lot and he convinced us to come in and get some food. I said I wanted a burger and beer and he got it done right! The burger isn’t anything crazy but it tastes wonderful. The only downsides are the decor being old and what not and the fries need some seasoning. Good place overall though. Would recommend.

Best Cheeseburger we’ve found on the island!! Fried Pickles are a must try as well. A great spot to hang, play some pool, or watch a game. The staff and the owner are so kind. Great food, awesome atmosphere!

During a recent visit to the area, my family stopped in Hulas Bar & Grill . Mind you are ages ranged from 24 to 61. Everyone one of us found enjoyment within this establishment. Pool table, live entertainment, booths as well as bar seating. I can NOT Express how great the burgers are!. Met the owner, down to earth hard working man doing his part in Surf City to provide some of the best burgers & beer to all. Personal opinion if you dont come out of there with a smile &full belly, your just not allowing yourself to have a good time.

Last night was the first time I had ever ordered from Hulas. We called at 11:30 and even though they were closing for the night they happily took our order and delivered it to the Brass Pelican. We got one of every appetizer and everyone was very happy with the food . Large portions and very fresh! Thank you Hulas! It was my first time but won’t be my last.
