The food was excellent and the place was nice & clean. Service was friendly. They forgot to submit my order when they submitted my wife’s, so her order came out by itself, but I would still definitely go back. I don’t think the order issue is common. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich which I highly recommend. Very tasty and enough for 2 sandwiches. My wife had a burger which she loved. Not a thin cardboard burger.

Honestly, the service was not great. The server never asked me for a drink, and once I finally got her attention I asked for a water and was about to ask her for a mixed drink and she walked off before I could order that. She then forgot my water multiple times, it honestly took her over 20 minutes on a water. This was my first experience and I thought it was because Smithville had an out door event going on, but my friends reassured me that even without an event or the place being slow, the service always sucked. For a first time experience I was not satisfied one bit, it was about just as HOT inside as it was outside. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but, this place was nothing special. Won’t go back more than likely.

Such a disappointment. The shrimp fettuccine Alfredo was a major let down. The sauce was not Alfredo, it was some creamy chicken broth sauce and the shrimp were skimpy. The other meal we ordered was the ribeye which was overcooked. Also, my daughter asked for no tomatoes on any part of her meal, and got tomatoes. When we shared our complaints we were met with attitude and pretty much told this is how food is made at this restaurant. We were offered 20% off for food we didn’t eat, and didn’t bring home with us. $50 down the drain. This was our first and last time eating here. Management obviously doesn’t care if their customers like the food, they like it, and that’s all that matters to them.

We brought family in from out of town for dinner and the service was horrible. The waitress took our drink order and brought the drinks and told us she would be right back to take our order. We waited at least 20 minutes before asking someone to get our waitress. She said our waitress was stressed and very busy and if she asks her to come take our order she would get mad. We asked if we could move tables and was told no. So we ended up walking out and going elsewhere. This was one of our favorite places to eat, and we have never had a problem, but with the attitude I don’t think we will be returning.

Met a huge family group and they were very accommodating on a Saturday afternoon. We took up multiple tables and the staff did a great job. Soda and beer refills were quick. Everything I sampled was great. The game room was great for all the kids. Sorry we were an hour too early for the live music. Loaded chicken nachos were really good.

We were there for appetizers and showed up pretty close to closing time. The staff was gracious about that and served us quickly. We had the cowboy dip and loaded nachos. The cowboy dip was amazing, some of us would come back just for that, and the nachos were great as well.

So, I have been hearing a lot about a place up in Smithville called Humphreys Bar and Grill. And since I happened to be up in that neck of the woods I decided to stop in and give them a try. Making my way to the bar I order up a nice glass of Martin city IPA and start to study the menu.

Took over 10 mins before we could even order drinks. The bartender came over and got our drink order. She had a full bar at the time. She said she would go ahead and take our order. It was worse the time before when we went in for lunch. But the cowboy dip with waffle fries is outstanding!
