This is an average Cinese food establishment for take-out orders only located at 450F Racetrack Rd. NW in Ft. Walton Beach. The front counter was 95% encased in cellophane wrap. I ordered the Kung Po Chicken, but it is not Kung P Chicken. They chopped up some frozen breaded chicken and mixed it with some vegetables. I do not believe it is worth the $10.50 for the order, but others may disagree. The narrow doorway might accommodate a wheelchair. There is plenty of parking in the Plaza parking lot.

I’ve been coming to Hunan’s for 28 years. Every time the food has been so delicious and The owner always treats me like a good friend. My favorite is meat with mixed vegetables or chicken wings. One of these days I will get that recipe for the chicken wings but the owner keeps telling me it’s a family secret recipe.

Great food. FAR better than the restaurant in Niceville by Ross. This one has great tasting food. Portion sizes are good; small is ACTUALLY small for people watching their weight, large is regular chinese food large in case you want a lot of food for the price. Rice, lo mein, mei fun, and sweet and sour all taste amazing. Definitely recommend. One negative: no option to order takeout online, only delivery; so either pay the delivery fee and wait, or deal with over-the-phone ordering.

Food poisoning. My wife has spent the last 30 hours incredibly ill after eating here. A few bites of the chicken tasted rancid/strange. Should have known better, the restaurant was absolutely filthy.

I called to place an order and was greeted by the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. I will spare the details for you and maybe you will have a better experience. The food may be fine, but I will never know. With so many takeout options, there is no reason to have someone treat a perspective customer this way.

Terrible experience. I ordered chicken and broccoli I paid for it and I never got it. I called to ask about it she started yelling at me that it was on top of the lo mein which really doesn’t make sense to me. Anyway it wasn’t there, clearly they had forgotten to put it in the bag. But she would just not even have a conversation about it and hung up on me. They need to work on their customer service. Very disappointing.
