Pretty setting and friendly staff. We got take out for $11.85 without tax. There is barely any selection of food. Once we got home, the food was really gross. You can tell they had the food sitting under the heating lamp for quite some time and little to none flavor in the food. The meat was so chewy and gummy, the rice was hard as rocks, and the rest was bland. Beware.

On vacation and ate here twice! Food is very tasty with a good variety. The service is fast and friendly – my tea never got less than half full before a refill. Chicken teriyaki without the stick, chicken and broccoli, beef and broccoli, chicken meatballs,spring rolls, green beans,etc.. were very tasty. The food here was surprisingly good. If I lived in the area I would be here 3 times a week!

My boyfriend will never go thirsty here! He judges a waitress on REFILLS and they get 10/10 every time! Cheerful workers! Hunan house hasn’t ever made my boyfriend break out to his food allergies, either. He likes the chicken and broccoli, and the black pepper chicken. Hunan house crew is orderly and well managed. Always ready to serve! Not gonna break out and not gonna be thirsty!? ALRIGHT!!!

The Hollow’s End Homestead
Hunan House is one of our all time favorites! I started coming here when I was pregnant with my first baby 19 years ago and I’ve never turned down a meal there since. That baby of mine and my other two love the place just as much as I do and we’ve made precious memories here with both of my grandmothers. My parents enjoy it as well. The waitresses are always so prompt and friendly, always remembering our drink orders and so thankful for our business. The food is almost always fresh, hot and delicious. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from and you will see staff constantly cleaning up.

Took my grandson to lunch. Was so disappointed, food on the bar was not kept stocked up with fresh hot food. This use to be a really good restaurant and a good value. Hate to say things have went downhill. Can’t see me going back till something changes.
