I got a flyer in my mailbox about this new Chinese restaurant. I decided to risk it and give it a chance this evening for my family and myself. To my surprise, I couldn’t believe how delicious our Chinese dinner was. My wife was even very happy as well. It’s hard to find a good Chinese restaurant that the food taste amazing and fresh. They have one of my business over and I will keep ordering from them from now on. FYI: the garlic chicken wings are huge and delicious! The prices are also very very reasonable for being in Rockville. Keep up the good work Hunan To Go! Don’t miss out!!!!!

Food is OK, and prices are reasonable. That said, the delivery time is ridiculous. The first time I ordered food, it took them over 2 hours to deliver, and that was after I called to ask what was taking so long. I figured it might just be an off night and was willing to give them a second chance.

I’ve ordered from here for the last 5 years it’s been my go to Chinese food delivery despite perhaps not the cleanliest of environments the food was always good. Last night I ordered online at 825pm (they say they’re open until 1030pm). Got a confirmation email that my food should be delivered by 920. That’s a long time but they always overestimate. About 930 rolls around and I start to get concerned that I still don’t have my food. No emails other than the confirmation and no missed phone calls. So I begin to call the restaraunt. No answer it just rings and rings. Finally at 950 I decide to drive to the restaraunt myself. I arrive just before 10 and it’s all dark except for the cooler inside. Sign on the door says open til 1030. Fortunately it doesn’t seem like my card was charged. But that was the last time I’ll ever order from them. They lost a long time customer there.

Underwent new management as of about 6 months ago. Very notable improvement in food quality. One of the best sesame chicken I’ve had. If you’re doing delivery, don’t order from them directly do Ubereats or Doordash instead. Much quicker that way!

Been eating here for 3 years now. ALWAYS GOOD and LARGE portions of food. The 1-star reviewer is a nasty person who doesn’t know that the owners depend on this place for their livelihood, and they would do their very best to provide good and clean food to their customers. Hunan to go is a hole in the wall for sure. Smaller Chinese place, but good service. Front is a little disorganized/junky, but don’t let that discourage you. There food is pretty great. I ordered a number of dishes on my visit for take out, and I was happy with all of them. My girlfriend is vegetarian and her and myself both loved the orange tofu (fake orange chicken). There’s tons of options here. Give it a try for sure. We’ll be back.

Cheapest Chinese food you will find in the area and the taste is great for the price, I always get the lunch special and I would absolutely recommend the “chicken and beef Hunan style lunch special”. If you order for delivery you have to be patient because they get tons of order for lunch and they are really busy, I always go there for carryout calling them in advance, yes, sometimes I even wait more time when I get there after calling because they are busy….but overall they are a nice business.

I ordered through GrubHub and it gave an estimated delivery time of 12:45…it is now 2:45 and it is not here! And when I called they gave a bullshit excuse saying we’re busy. So later on GrubHub called and said that they were going to take some money off and then the owner actually delievered my food and gave me a discount and huge apology. Food is decent just wish the service wasn’t so bad.
