Agree with others that this is the best Chinese food in the area. The hot and sour soup is hearty and delicious (I get it whenever I am under the weather) and their egg rolls are perfectly crispy. The staff is always very friendly and the service is excellent. The parking lot can be a bit busy, especially during rush hour – but it’s definitely in a convenient location. So lucky to have this restaurant nearby!

I have eaten at Hunan west for practically my whole life. The food is fine, however, on multiple occasions I have found a hair in my orange chicken. Today, I unfortunately found an ACTUAL STAPLE in my orange chicken. I don’t know if this was deliberate or an accident, but the amount of negligence is completely unacceptable. I don’t even want to imagine what would have happened to me if I accidentally ingested the staple. Luckily, I checked the food prior to eating (half expecting to find another hair). This is the final straw for me, I will never order from here again because they obviously don’t care about their customers health and safety. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
