This place has gone downhill. Ordered through delivery service a quart egg drop soup received a pint. Today my husband went to pick up an order. Tasteless shrimp, mei fun. I was a customer of theirs for a long time, but they just lost my business.

Good, not great, everything was just average. Average service, Average food, Average prices. Kinda Boring to be honest. Though to be honest some of the food wasn’t average, as shown in the picture below some of the food was just BAD that food was awful.

Not sure what’s with all the negative comments. I’ve been coming here for 10 years and their food is always good, plentiful, consistent, and fast. I’ve never had a problem. I’ve had many different things from the menu and it’s always tasted great. Only two things in the ten years that were not good because they were stale and old was the fried crispy noodles and the fried wonton but this is on occasion because it’s not talways like that. I’m very particular with Chinese food I get. The only other place that’s as good as this place is Golden Wok in Raritan.

Best Chinese food!! A lot of places need to deliver, but not here. So worth going to pick it up! They give you a really good bang for your buck. We get 2 meals out of only ordering once! Go now if you’re craving Chinese food.

Asked for an order in person and the Chinese lady that works there was watching something and didn’t listen to my order correctly… she charged me and gave me part of the food, I called back and she was arguing with me saying that I didn’t order that when I did in the first place and told her I was hungry and she didn’t do anything about it… bad customer service from her never coming back to this place!

It was love at first bite for me at Hunan Wok. The dine-in experience leaves much to be desired because the dining area set-up is very drab and dull, but who cares? It’s Chinese food, not fine dining! The food is what matters and it is ALWAYS good. I’ve never had a bad customer service experience either. The only matter that I have issue with is that they continue to charge the former NJ sales tax of 6.875% instead of the current rate of 6.625%. It’s only a matter of a few cents but If you total that up amongst all of the customers in a year, that adds up to a pretty penny in their pocket! So, make sure to address that when paying for your order. Other than that, I have nothing but high praises and I’ll continue to be a lifetime customer.

I’m sorry but the Original Owners were the best. Food was delicious, size & price was decent. Ever since these people took over it hasn’t been the same ☹.. the quantity got smaller & pricey. The food DOESN’T taste the same at all & I useto ❤ the rice NOPE not the same sorry… tried 3 different times very disappointed that the original owners left now I don’t know where to go for Chinese since I did considered them the best but now that’s out… Wish the old owners would come back. It’s gonna take a while to find a good place to go nearby now.
