This was a pretty busy place to eat at 1800 on 6/17/23. It was worth the wait!!!

Great kudos to these guys putting a new take on good old tacos! We were impressed by the food and the service and the quirky atmosphere. A suggestion would be that they offer more vegetarian options because the only vegetarian option is the beans and rice and they could totally do more options. It felt as if they stopped trying to cater to those that don’t eat meat. Other than that, a taco will probably suffice, two is too much and don’t be scared about the wait, it’s well worth it.

Wonderful food and nice atmosphere and right in the heart of Grand Marais. I ordered the sweet hot pork taco special and it was delicious! That fry bread is phenomenal! There were so many other things on the menu that I want to try also! Great beer selection too! Will definitely come back!

I very much enjoyed Hungry Hippie Tacos. The Tachos are amazing and a fantastic value. Two people could easily split it. The Idaho Love is tasty too, with a great shell. I highly recommend stopping here for a meal if you’re in the area.

Totchos were wonderful. The fry bread tacos were something different and delicious. The churro cookies should not be skipped!

We’ve been coming to the north shore for 4+ years and I can’t believe this is the first time we’ve been here! We came during the off season but it was still pretty busy. The service was quick and the staff were so nice, and I loved the decor and ambiance. The tacos were SO good and so filling. They’re pretty large and packed full with your choose of fixings. I was skeptical about the shells at first but they really worked. They were flavorful and a soft/crispy texture. We’ll be back in the summer and I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Busy little fry bread taco place, a bit pricey for what it is (tacos), outstanding service and a nice atmosphere. They initially got my order wrong, but really bent over backwards to fix things right. I honestly thought the fry bread was a bit too dry/stiff and not fluffy and soft/pliable enough. The ingredients they use were top notch but limited, and the combinations were interesting. The Tatchos/nachos made with tater tots was a bit confusing and I really didn’t care for it. The beans were dry and sticky and the rice was alright. I wouldn’t order any of the same stuff again if I get to go back.
