Bad experience! My hungry hobo combo was supposed to be cold sandwich but it was hot and my lettuce and tomatos became soggy. My wife ordered the hot Italian beef and it had mayonnaise on it and it was suppose to be a hot but it was cold. I’m sorry I didn’t go back to complain but I was in a hurry for a tourney or else I would of. But never again will I go back to eat there.

A solid choice. One of the only solid choices in Silvis. Was a bit disappointed that the reuben bread wasn’t toasted, but I love their cheese fries. It’s super close, which is a plus. I like that they have REAL unsweetened tea. Service has always been quick.

Looooove Hungry Hobo! #11 is a must. If you arent from the area, you have to try it out while you are here. On Tuesdays get the taco tato! Atmosphere is relaxed and very casual. The restaurants are always clean and orderly. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I usually am very satisfied with Hungry Hobo. The sandwiches are good and the service is fast and friendly. Today I went and ordered 2 steak and cheese sandwiches. Last time I was there I ordered the same but with an add of soup. I didn’t get my soup and did not realize it until I got home. We live about 15 miles away so going back was not an option. I told them about the mix up and the manager said if I didn’t call back that same day there was nothing she could do about it. She sent the young man taking orders out to tell me that without coming out herself which I think is poor management on her part. The young counter man was apologetic but you could tell he was uncomfortable. I just wish they would have offered a free soup and let it go at that. I had been charged for it but no. I am unsatisfied and will not be going back to that Hungry Hobo again.

Sandwiches are usually very good. Today I called and ordered 4 sandwiches and was told that they would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrive 15 minutes later and told them that I was there for my order. The girl behind the counter looked, but could not find it, then she looked at the order pad, she then got a funny look on her face. They had not even started my order. There was only 1 person in line and 1 person eating. She did say that they were short staffed. I said when I left, busy day huh, she said “something like that”. I am very sure that they just forgot! Not good business! I waited for them to make my sandwiches then left. The girl did apologize.
