I am a first time customer from Charleston,SC and decided to check out Hungry Howie because nothing else was open near by. Soon as me & my fiancé walked in we was greeted by 2 men at the register. They helped us choose from the menu, told us about any specials that was available and let us know which flavors they would recommend. Great customer service and pizza & wings was so good. Disgusting. Ordered through the hungry Howies app. When I put my info in and paid for the order the screen turned white- App crashed. Took over an hour to get my “pizza”. It had no cheese …. Called store they started laughing and put me on speaker and asked me to say it again. 3 hours after I placed the original order my replacement came via door dash along with the bill- they never paid door dash for the pizza they sent even though I paid direct to store at 830 pm now that it’s 1130 pm the pizza is here along with a bill. And the driver is having to call door dash since hungry howies didn’t pay and they are closed. Which means I’m sitting outside for now 10 min or more letting the pizza get cold Absolutely ridiculous door dash driver calls door dash who then says do not deliver the pizza throw it away, because the store didn’t pay hungry howies fails again twice in one night and now it’s 1145pm ‍♀️ ‍♀️ ‍♀️

I don’t know if the franchise owner feels that people want to just eat a dough pizza this is supposed to be the Asian chicken pizza and I literally counted 8 small little cubes of chicken… now the person that made this, the person that sold this to me and the person that owns this franchise I’m sure would not accept this as a meal but yet it’s okay for them to serve it -sell it and send it out the door! if you’re not going to put ingredients on the pizza then close your doors and go out of business? and this was $24 with tax, absurd / unacceptable this is a terrible business model. Overall quality should be an important concern to these businesses evidently all their concerned about is taking your money with no concern of what you receive in quality and quantity

Service was horrible, playing trap music very loud. Came at 11:30p online it states 12p closing. The young lady Caucasian with red hair had an attitude . Slamming things which I was assuming because she wanted to leave a bit earlier versus a last minute order. Poor attitude and service. The food was not as good but could have dealt with if service was ok.

Great experience! Doordash didn’t deliver our pizza and the store went above and beyond our expectations and called us and offered a refund. I chose to still get the pizza Deepdish and Cheeseburger pizza. Great choice as it was perfectly cooked and delicious. We always order from this location and have always been happy with the food and service.

Crazy Chicken
Waited 10 minutes on phone to place order, then gave up and ordered online. Supposed to take 40 minutes, was more like 1:20. Pizza was super greasy and average at best. FYI, they use door dash to deliver, NOT their own drivers. Should disclose that on website, probably why it took so long.

Ordered several pizzas, one of them was completely wrong and looked like it was from someone else’s order. I called, which took 10 minutes of ringing and then being on hold for who knows how long, about it and was told they would refund the messed up pizza but have yet to receive anything. This location can be ok but was really miss this last time, I don’t think I’ll be back.
