This location has always had its problems, but never bad enough for me to stop coming here. Unfortunately the last two times I ordered they cooked my pizza incorrectly. I asked for well done and both times it was almost raw. The second time I even put it in the Special Instructions and still the pizza was not only not well done, but very undercooked. I’ve taken my business elsewhere, I hope in the future I can resume ordering as the staff has always been very friendly and welcoming.

Mediocre these days. I used to come here pretty much every week in the early 2000s until 2020. The last few years, it has gotten very inconsistent. Sometimes everything is spectacular with delicious food and great service. Other times, the food is dry or old, and the service is awful. Hungry Howies is still my favorite pizza place, and I’ll keep going here. However, they could do better. Another note: It’s understandable that the prices have increased a lot, but it’s still a disappointment considering the inconsistencies.

Located right next to La Fayette Creamery. Our first time trying their pizza. We ordered a $10.99 pizza with 2 toppings of olives and bell peppers. We had our crust flavored with butter, oregano and onion. The crust is where the flavor is. Their pizza sauce is on the mild and sweet side. Did not taste a lot of flavor with the cheese ,veggies or sauce. However one thing I will commend them for is their super fast service even though they were super busy.

If you use the online app, you don’t get it the specials. I highly recommend calling for the special as you’ll save quite a bit of money for the same thing. Definitely have to do the double cheese makes it super cheesy!

I stopped going to this establishment because I have been ripped off the last few times I have purchased food from this location. I would order double meet and triple cheese on my pizza and sandwiches, and they put the same standard amount. I did an experiment by ordering one pizza with standard amounts of toppings and one with double meet and triple cheese, and they looked the same. Stay away from the 9th street location.

We were visiting Lafayette Creamery next door and so decided on picking up the pizza cor dinner from HH. The pizza was decent and fairly priced. But not one of the best we have tried. We definitely want to go back and try other options. Especially thier deep dish offering.
