Was overcharged for a promotion when I contacted the store, I was told I would receive a credit. I called the following week to use the credit and the lady on the phone said she remembered and that the pizza would be ready in 15-20 mins. Get there 30 mins later and they tell me they don’t recognize the number. I explained it was a walk-in order from the previous week and that I had called. The lady turns to ask a manager on duty and he says he normally doesn’t do this but yes he will honor the credit like he was doing me a favor. I will not be back. Little Cesar’s is right down the road if I want cheap quick pizza and they ate cheaper.

We ordered pizza from hungry Howies on Merrill apparently they had a medical emergency with a driver and canceled our order without notifying us. When I called they said they attempted to call (T-Mobile has those spam blockers that redirect you to a voicemail box) and when I asked why they didn’t leave a message notifying me or some type of email notification it was cancelled (the app said it was still being prepared) and the guy laughed at me and said “who leaves voicemails anymore?”

I used to order pizza & salads from here all the time and the food was alright but earlier today (5/31/18) the food was SO BAD! Actually bad would be a compliment, the food was so disgusting it was almost inedible. The pizza had a burnt taste, the bottom of the crust wasn’t burnt but the pizza had a cooked-in burnt/smokey taste, it was terrible. After three bites I couldn’t eat anymore and just went straight to the crust. I ordered garlic butter flavor and it had NO flavor, they must have forgotten to flavor my crust. After 5 bites of pizza I couldn’t eat anymore, I felt like it was going to make me sick. I’ve never ordered the Howie bread before so i’m not sure how they intended it to be but it was soggy, limp & kind of rubbery, it tasted atrocious & looks nothing at all like the menu picture. (my bf is a chef & he wouldn’t even try the bread, he sd it was not cooked) I’m not sure if maybe it was a new cook today but I don’t think we are going to go back to this Hungry Howie’s anymore, the food was just so god-awful!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Our order arrived later than expected, and lo and behold wasn’t even our order! The driver assured us she would return with the proper order ASAP. Well, I wish she would have just left whatever monstrosity she brought us at the store. I worked in chain pizza for YEARS and I wouldn’t ever serve something like this!!!! This establishment is poorly managed and staffed. I visited this location for the 2nd and final time last night 3/13/2023 I entered the restaurant before 10 pm which is the closing hours listed on the door as well as the website. I was told that they close continuously based on sales for the day. A few Prior I placed an order for delivery and received a call from the restaurant telling me that they could not deliver my order due to someone quitting. I would not recommend this particular location.
