Came by boat from lacrosse wi. Docked up right in front of bar. Has outside seating as well as indoor. Friendly staff,greeted apon entering the bar . Food was great and priced reasonably.

The new owners, Tim and Pam have done a remarkable job. In England it’s called pub grub. In America it’s called bar food. Regardless of either title all of it is well made and delicious. The prices are also quite affordable and a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to my next visit and seeing that wonderful smile behind the bar.

If I could give a lower rating I would. Have been going there for a few years and have never been treated so bad. After wating for an hour for our food and watching others that came after us get theirs I questioned where ours was. They said it was coming and then gave me the bill. I said i would pay the bill when we got our food. Then the soon to be owner came and yelled loudly that we the food was coming and they had a small kitchen. She was so RUDE, I will never go back again.

Unfortunately, this place is temporarily closed because of staff shortages. Sad. It has great views of the Mississippi. You can see the boats coming and going from lock and dam No 6. Decent food, good beer selection and great staff.

Awesome Service, Mixed Drinks and The Food is Definitely The best it ever has been than with previous ownership/ Managment. The Beautiful View sitting on their 3 different patios choices over looking the Mississippi River is one of a kind. This all the while having Dinner, Drinks and Conversation. WOW ! You won’t Be disappointed anymore Taking your family or having that datenight with the one you love. The Place was thriving with positive energy from everyone we so enjoyed the interactions with you all. Nice Job to everyone that works there Your’er all hard working and it shows !!! Thank you for making this place feel like old times, when people were people just getting out to have fun & letting your hair down and mingle. Oh yeah you still can. P.s We did not see 1 person on there cell phone.

I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, but my husband and I have been regular customers for years and we’re seeing the quality get worse and worse. Yes staff are friendly and do their best and prices are reasonable, but that doesn’t matter when the overall quality is going to hell. Wait times are unreasonable. Food is served cold, missed items, shoddy looking buns on the burgers, can’t get a descent salad. Out door seating area is trashy looking and desperately needs upkeep! Hungry Point needs new management!!

If you’re not a local don’t come here. I don’t usually review places but this was bad. We showed up and the place didn’t really look like a restaurant, more so a house. That wouldn’t be an issue, but there’s no signage for where to go.

My burger was ok, but the sweet potato fries were bad- seemed liked they’d been fried earlier and refried? Waitress forgot another side we ordered. I would find another place to eat. This place is ok for a beer only and a view.
