Absolutely thrilled to share my experience at the Hunt and Gather Raw Bar & Pub! This culinary gem took me on an unforgettable journey with its unique menu featuring an array of wild game delights. The star of my meal was undoubtedly the elk burger, cooked to absolute perfection. Juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor, it showcased the chef’s mastery in handling game meat. But the surprises didn’t end there – the mussels, oh my! Rich, savory, and brimming with oceanic essence, they transported my taste buds to the depths of indulgence. Hunt and Gather Raw Bar & Pub truly stands out for its daring and delectable offerings. A paradise for food adventurers!

We were in town less than a week and we still ate here twice. As restaurant owners, we can be guilty of having very high of expectations at times. At Hunt and Gather, NOTHING disappoints. Service, Food, Bar, atmosphere. We loved it so much we went two nights in a row and debated going back a third! It’s a small, quaint place in an unassuming strip mall off the beaten track. Locals hope the tourists don’t find out about it. They don’t take reservations but the wait was short both nights. We sat at the bar with David the first night and at a booth the next. David even came out from behind the bar to check on us when we dined in the booth. They don’t have cocktails but a nice wine and beer selection and they also allow you to bring in your own wine (which we did) for only a $25 corkage fee. I noticed a few people bringing in wine. The chef and his wife, Tiffany are the owners and are actively present to help in any way. Can’t recommend this place enough. One of our favorite dining experiences in all of our travels. Thanks to the whole group for enhancing our visit to PCB.

This restaurant came highly recommended by the locals here in Panama City Beach. We started our dinner off by ordering the Duck Confit Loaded Fries, which were amazing! For our entrees we ordered the Wild Boar Bolognese and the Slow Braised Venison Short Rib. Both entrees were out of this work great. We finished with some dessert, which was a brownie/Mousse combo. The dinner was the best we have had in Panama City Beach. The atmosphere is very cool with Edison bulbs hanging and everything very clean. We also got to meet Derek, whom was very nice and funny. Our server, Jameson deserves a shout out as he was great as well. Thanks for the memory guys, we will be returning!!!

We stopped at this place during our vacation trip to Panama City. Atmosphere was laid back, service was great, and food was delicious. Huge shoutout to our Server, David. He was very informative and detailed in recommendations on the menu and took great care of us. Got myself a souvenir tee shirt to take back home with me as this place is a small place local to Panama City.

David at the bar was absolutely amazing. He recommended all of our small plates and they were great. The bone marrow boat was mind blowing, followed by the raw oysters (fantastic), then deviled eggs -creamy with a great smoky trout egg, escargo (I loathe snails and this was great), scallops in an amazing brown butter sauce, Brussel sprouts, and finished with the mousse. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, but the people were the best part. The people beside us and the people in front of us. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Had the best experience here tonight for a belated Father’s Day dinner. My sister has been here numerous times and spoke very highly of everything. She recommended we get there right when they open because they are a fairy well loved and busy place. I loved everything about it. The service was wonderful. I believe that it was the owner that served us and she was just great. Very attentive and caring. The atmosphere was beautiful. The color and lighting of the place is very calming. I really love the fact that you can see the entire bar, every table, and even a part of the kitchen. I think the size of it really plays a huge part in the success of how everything is run. Bigger isn’t always better. The food itself is unreal. They have such a unique menu. coming from someone who has been vegan and vegetarian often on for years, I was intimidated by the menu, but had a super open mind and tried about five different dishes, and they were all incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly, and plated beautifully. The people in the kitchen are clearly very educated, professional, and really care about their taste and presentation. The pricing of the meals are beyond reasonable for the quality and size of the portions.

This place exceeded my expectations. I frequently heard from locals that this was the best restaurant in town but it was so much better than I anticipated. The bartender, David, was super friendly and everyone remembered my name. The food came out in the perfect order and was cooked to perfection.

The service here is nothing but outstanding. The staff is friendly and the food never disappoints. No matter what you get on the menu, it tastes amazing. I also had a birthday party in the private room in the back and the service was just as excellent. I’ve become a regular and I’m here at least once every two weeks. It’s too good to not go. Number #1 spot to visit in Panama City.

Definitely not what I had in mind, given the strip mall location. The service was professional, timely, and courteous. I had kimchi oysters and a rack of elk. They were both extremely well executed. I also had the creme brulee cheesecake for dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner. It is not cheap, but the prices are appropriate for the dishes and how well prepared everything is.
