This is an oddly upscale restaurant for such a small town, but it’s not fancy. The food is fabulous – great flavors and reasonable portions. The entrees are a bit pricey but they are yum! We had two appetizers (the antelope and the crab stuffed mushrooms, which was a special) and split an elk entree and a flourless chocolate mousse cake. Highly recommend.

Exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, upscale and delicious. Interesting menu. Reasonable wine list and prices. Beautifully prepared food. Our server (Kerry), was super friendly. We had the antelope appetizer with wine to start. Then we ordered chicken and the elk for main courses. Tons of flavor and very tender. Not even the least bit of game flavor. We sat outside and really enjoyed our evening. Great work Chef! Look forward to seeing them all again.

Spectacular! My first time trying antelope and elk and wow it blew my mind so many flavors; delicious. The presentation of the food is so beautiful. I had their day special dish which was the chicken with rice and it was so great. The surroundings and the place itself are beautiful. Thank you to our waiter Kerry! I spent some time in Wayne County today and stopped at the Hunt & Gather Restaurant. I have driven past this place many times and have always wanted to stop. I will never regret taking the time to try this AMAZING place. Some of the best food I have eaten. The presentation and experience were top notch. If you appreciate a culinary experience go to Hunt and Gather!!! We were a party of 12 and from the moment we arrived we had a fantastic experience! Cindy was amazing and made us laugh. Kerry, our waiter, made our dinner here next level. The food was great. I liked the yellow curry. High quality pork. The Schnitzel was good too, a tad dry so get extra apricot sauce and it’s good. Great ambience and phenomenal service.
