I randomly stumbled across this joint. Had the brisket sandwich and it was great. My two sides were mac and cheese and coleslaw. The Mac n cheese is very good. Reminds me of lasagna. Only downside to this place is that all ribs are pork only. Otherwise would’ve been 5stars.

We went here for lunch and decided to get the “All In platter” to split between 3 guys, we had food left at the end, enough for another meal. The food was good southern style food. I enjoyed everything that I ate. The corn on the cob needed some help, but it’s pretty hard to mess that one up. I suspect it was microwaved. Meat was well smoked and sauces were delicious. My favorite and chef recommended was the “sweet and sassy.” I would not hesitate to stop in again, they had some really mouth watering sandwiches pictured on the website that I must get back to try!

Went to get ice cream and came home with a full dinner. Best burger, hot link, fries mac an cheese. We shared everything and was so good we went back the next night. My family wants to try everything!

Had originally left a different review but I judged way too quickly. We weren’t satisfied with our pulled chicken combo but John was willing to fix it and even offered one on the house. I can tell the owners care a lot about their customers and making sure they have the best experience. I stand by my statement that this was the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had and the corn was sweet and juicy! Prices are very reasonable. Customer service was great. We will definitely be back to try a feast!

Ordered a full rack of ribs with the Sweet and Sassy sauce, Corn on the Cob, Baked Beans, and cornbread. The sauce is amazing, the ribs are juicy and cooked very nicely, and they ribs themselves are butchered very well. Also got the Mac and cheese, all the sides were delicious, especially the baked beans, my daughter stole my cob of corn because hers was so good and she wanted more. I highly recommend this place and am proud that I can say they’re a local Saint Paul place. Eat Up!!!!

Wow! Such great barbecue! We got ribs and chicken wings and the rubs on both were so flavorful. The chicken rub is incredible. The bbq sauce is pretty sweet but works well with the rub flavor and honestly the sauce is optional. The flavor is great with or without it. The sides are awesome too! No barbecue is complete without great sides to go with it! I’m so thrilled to be able to support this new local restaurant and can’t wait to try more meats in the future.

First time trying this place based on Google reviews and I’m so glad we did. We ordered online for pickup and splurged with the All-In BBQ Feast along with a large rib tips and 6 chicken wings. The food was all great but the sneaky surprise was the hot links. I could have had a dozen of them. The staff was really friendly and the food was ready shortly after arriving. If you’re looking for a great bbq joint, look no further.

Disappointed to say the least. Looked and sounded like decent BBQ, and really wanted it to be, but everything I had was just not good. Are here for lunch. Had pulled pork sandwich, beans, corn, and cornbread. Corn was cold and was clearly just boiled, beans were overly sweet, cornbread lacked flavor (and they didn’t include butter). Bread of sandwich was soaked thru because the coleslaw was overly sauced. If there was any BBQ on it (picked their classic), I couldn’t tell by taste (clearly there was based on looks). Saving grace and reason for 2 stars not 1, is that the meat was tender, there was a good amount on the sandwich, and it wasn’t half fat.

Really thought it’d be better, it was not good. The brisket had the consistency of tree bark. It was like they left it under the heat lamp too long. The ribs had no bark, minimal flavor, and the sauce was very tomato or ketchup heavy. The smell was mostly hot dog like and not more complex like you’d expect from good BBQ. I can’t recommend.

We ordered the feast for 2 today and is was easily enough for 4. All of the meats were very flavorful. You can tell they even go the extra mile on their sides and cornbread. Several Hunter family members were working and waiting for food. They made us feel welcome and appreciated. They said to call in advance next time to avoid the wait. Happy to have a legit bbq joint to add to the other great food in the neighborhood.
