Get ready to wait. This place is constantly packed. So you know what that means. Great food in an out of the way place. A hole in the wall. The workers are extremely polite, and really nice.

Unbelievable good quality steak with a fantastic herb crust sear and perfectly cooked inside. I have never been disappointed.

Wow! amazing food. I had the new York strip with mash potatoes and asparagus and wow! The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare with a nice crust on it. The potatoes were well seasoned and did I mention the rolls. They were perfect.the staff was amazing and made me feel at home even though I’m not from GA.

Great service and food for my birthday dinner. We have learned to come early or be ready to wait. Fried Lobster appetizers were scrumptious, Steaks cooked to perfection, wine choices and super service made this another great visit! We will be back!

We had the catch of the day which was great, but the size of the portion was a little light. Four people in our party had steaks; temp was perfect, and the flavor was awesome. One other had chicken tenders, and she was happy with her meal. You need to get there 45 minutes before they open, or wait until after 7:00.

Best mom and pop shop around! I drove 35 minutes from Fort Benning to go there and get a great Ribeye. Right off of the highway but you wouldn’t know it! If you’re passing through you should 100% stop in!

Can’t say anything about their food as we didn’t get to try it but I will say that they’re super friendly people. We broke down today on our way home from the beach and pulled into their parking lot while we waited for a tow truck and their hospitality was superb. If I’m ever out that way again I’ll definitely have to stop back in and order something to eat.

My wife and I were staying in a nearby cottage through VRBO and the owners suggested Hunter’s Pub. It’s a little hole in the wall hidden off I-185 in the middle of nowhere. If you go, try to get early because it fills up quick. Even after waiting 40 minutes though it was well worth the wait.

Haven’t been back to Hunter’s Pub in a number of years but our visit back was just as good as we remembered it 8years ago. The charm of a local spot tucked away still holds true when you want to get away from the ever growing chains taking over in Columbus and how busy it gets on the weekends. If you come during prime dining times, expect a wait but they turn tables pretty quickly. We of course ordered the fried lobster tails as an appetizer and a little thick on the batter but it’s still a fun treat to get. My ribeye was cooked and seasoned perfectly and same for my wife’s filet. Worth the ride from Columbus to get a good meal, staff is extremely friendly and attentive.

Horribly loud. If you like that, to each their own, but I can’t stand loud areas. The venue is quite small, so everyones voices mixed with the music can be very overstimulating and stressful to neurodivergent individuals. Great for take-out! The food is worth it! Not a fan of the location personally, though. Almost always fully packed out (another testimate to its quality!) Good stuff.
