Older building but tons of character. Fun, loud atmosphere. The food was delicious. Fries were crispy. Ham and bacon had tons of flavor. House BBQ sauce was sweet and tasty. Chicken breast had delicious seasoning and was still moist. Ribs were perfectly cooked. For our first visit everything came out great. Service was perfect. We will be back for sure.

Made a quick pit stop here on our way to a New Year’s Eve party just in case they didn’t have a bunch of food ready since we hadn’t ate. The place actually had a pretty cool atmosphere. All of the food we got was really good and are waitress was super attentive and helpful when it came to making selections. Wasn’t sure what to expect before stopping here but for sure would not mind coming back! Check it out if you haven’t be for, I’m sure you won’t be upset 🙂

Best bbq around downriver. Slow Smoked, dry rub. Amazing brisket too. Could use different fries though like steak fries or something not so greasy. But best bbq hands down.

Update 11/7/21: lots of loud young kids hanging at the end of the bar. Friends of employees ? Bathrooms are very dirty and could use better regular maintenance. Food was good, service is lacking and they don’t check to refill your glass until your food hits the table. Update: 2/25/23 good food and service, no noisy kids hanging out.

The food is excellent, the service was okay, and the amount of sticky surfaces was unsettling.. The waitress was so nice and it wasn’t a full house in there but somehow our app came out after our food.. and the table and my menu felt like they were coated in beer and just barely wiped off. Next time I’ll order carry out. Overall I would reccomend for the food.

Wife been going to this place with her friend for a while now. She really bragged it up. She took me here on a Friday evening around 6:30 for dinner. Ordered the old Macdonald. Was told 20 minutes later they were out of pork. The waitress said she would bring all brisket to which I happily agreed. That was the worst “brisket” I’ve ever seen. There was more fat than meat. Why anyone would have put those fatty pieces of meat and call it brisket, much less charge over $20 for it, is beyond me. They should be ashamed calling them selves a BBQ joint and trying to pass lard as brisket. Corn bread and Cole slaw were decent which is why they only get one star. I won’t be back

The food here is better than expected. The mac n cheese is good, pulled pork is great, and their catering pasta is perfect for large crowds. Would definitely recommend a few upgrades in the building itself, but other than that, it’s a pretty good option for a quick meal close to home.
