Hurricane Alley’s was the first place we checked out on our first day of our vacation. We ended up going there twice over the span. The top floor is a great view of the fair and ocean. There’s a nice breeze and relaxed atmosphere up there. The Southwest chicken rolls were delicious! As were the hushpuppies- make sure to pair them with the honey butter because it was amazing. The flounder taco had crispy breading, however the flavor was pretty bland. Overall it was an excellent experience. FYI as of posting this, they don’t do to-go orders! But you can eat there and take leftovers out which is a bit weird.

Second floor balcony oceanfront views! Enjoyed the crispy fried smash burger and tangy Carolina BBQ! Our server had many tables so service was slow but you’re on vacation so take your time; just keep this in mind if you’re catching a ferry in the evening.

We came here for a few drinks and a quick bite and ended up staying for hours. Good beach bar vibes, fun drinks (like their fish bowl), and the food was definitely above-average quality. Also, they have a cool deck on their second floor so you can see the beach and feel the breeze. We will definitely be coming back .

Great spot on the beach Super busy but staff handled the crowd very well. Had the smash burger which was very good! The service was outstanding! If you go there I hope you get Linsey as your waitress. Very hard working and attentive to everything we needed. I will return to H.A. anytime I return to Carolina Beach!

We came in off the beach to cool down and grab some food. Brittany was amazing the peel & eat shrimp was cooked perfectly. We did check out the upstairs just to look at the view. Great experience can’t wait to comw back on my next visit to Wilmington!

So we had only drinks there but the bar service was fantastic! We’ve been down all weekend and I hadn’t been able to find mojitos anywhere !(most places were just out of mint ) but PAIGE the bartender and her bar back came through with some fresh mint leaves after originally telling me they were out ! I couldn’t have been more grateful ! I order several DIFFERENT drinks from PAIGE, each one was pretty good tasting AS WELL AS strong enough to give you a bang for your buck ! This place has a phenomenal welcoming bartender, as well as providing live music on weekends(diverse selection) , and a great ocean view open air bar service. Being a mixed couple we usually experience varying responses from staff but after initially sitting at the end of the bar PAIGE welcomed to scoot on down right Infront of her . Not only was she so prompt with providing our drinks but we really appreciated her asking to move down
