Went for Thursday steak night. The food was amazing! The steak was juicy and yummy, the potato was big with plenty of butter & sour cream, and you HAVE to taste the bread before you get too full! Took home a walnut brownie, which was also awesome! Go early!

About the size of a 2 car garage… and a local as you can possibly get. It gets packed cause folks know the secret. Daily specials go fast and you better get there early. The shrimp is fresh and flavorful and the fried catfish is INSANE! huge portions and incredibly fresh and tasty. Slaw is delicious and fried okra on point. No wonder the locals love this place. What a wonderful experience. Ask for Brenda, she is the owner. Jessica our server was fantastic! If you leave here hungry it is your own fault! Go for the fresh cinnamon rolls and banana pudding!

I’ve enjoyed the food every time I’ve eaten here. I really like their simple down home breakfast and the fried chicken is great. Always served with a smile. The atmosphere is exactly what I expect and enjoy, but don’t expect anything other than small town country.

Heard about Hutch’s Kuntry Kookin Diner from a friend, so we decided to give it a try. Sooo Glad we did!!! We went on Seafood Friday, so Cowboy got the Catfish, fried okra, French fries, baby lima beans and Texas toast plus sweet tea. Whew, so much for so little and it was absolutely delicious!!! I got 2 thick Fried pork chops (bone in), tomato-cucumber-onion salad, fried potatoes-onions-peppers and Texas toast. OMG sooo scrumdilleyicious!!! The peace de resistance, was the Banana Pudding!!! This is the Bestest BP that I have found here in the low country!!! I am a Banana Pudding aficionados and I have been eating it everywhere that has it. To sum it all up, Go give it a try!!!!! You’re Welcome!!!!

The food and service was excellent. The fried chicken was tasty, moist, and not overly seasoned. The Mac and Cheese was just like you would think in a place like this, country and tasty. I’d like to give the Cole slaw a five star, but I’d give it a 4.5. It was tasty and flavorful, but they add onions in it. It’s the first place that I’ve seen onions in Cole slaw. The onions were too strong and over powers the Cole slaw. If it wasn’t for the onions it would be awesome. The fried pork chop is moist and very flavorful. Overall the place is one the best places that I have eaten.
