Arrived to an empty restaurant just before 1pm, and watched it fill up pretty quickly. The only waitstaff I saw was not just friendly, efficient, organized, and a provider of great service. She was very cool, calm & collected. A true asset to this restaurant! She handled questions beautifully, ensuring customers got a really good meal by helping them with choices based on what they like, not by her personal preferences.

Had a great first time here. The service was quick and the waitress was friendly. The sushi was great quality and super delicious. The pot stickers were also really good and crispy. Honestly, the prices for the rolls are really good! And they’re not skimpy rolls either – they were nice and fat. Would definitely come here again.

HWA is our new favorite Korean/Japanese fusion place go-to! I love their toufu soup – the best I have had in SLC so far! Their vibe/internal design is very Japanese and I love that they have set aside quite some space for each table so you can enjoy some privacy. Their service is superb and they always serve you free delicious dessert to finish the day. The only flaw of this place I would say is the speed, you just have to be patient and reserve more time, but you definitely get rewarded with hot and fresh plates coming out right from the kitchen.

Food is good. I got cheese Don katsu and they put cheese on top of katsu and melt it. The cabbage tasted fresh. I didn’t like their chair because it felt like one of those chairs you use for concerts at a local park.

Everything about this place was yummy. We’re prepping for a trip to Japan and there weren’t many unique “Japanese” type items on the menu, but the Cheesy Don Katsu was good and the Volcano Roll Sushi was amazing! Yum!!

Been coming here for 10 years. It never disappoints! The customer service is amazing. They give you potstickers as an appetizer with a little a dessert at the end. Each dining table has its own private area giving lots of privacy for get togethers. Prices are also very affordable. I’ve gone to many sushi places around the country and this one is still one of my favorites!

By far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in all of Utah. The potstickers are amazing, crispy and juicy. The veggie tempura uses really high quality vegetables, and is perfectly fried with what I assume is a genius ginger sauce. Finally the chicken balgulgi bowl was spectacular, the use of both light and dark chicken meat was fantastic and some of the best chicken quality I’ve ever had. I almost forgot the very nice complementary desert at the end which was an ice cream with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream on top of a piece of bread. Thank you for the amazing food.
