The fish sandwich was tender and flavorful but the surprise was the onion rings. They were cooked to perfection – large tender onions with a crispy crust. The best we have ever eaten. No condiments needed.

Hole in the wall, greasy spoon or dive… no matter what you call them, these small, relatively inexpensive food joints, have some of the best food around and Hwy 29 Grill is one of the best.. Hwy 29 Grill has just became one of my top 3 favorites of all time. It’s definitely not the Country Club but its clean, has a friendly staff and quick service.. Most meals under $10 Indefinitely Some of the best food around. From burger And hot dogs, To barbecue and frog legs…. highly recommend The only problem I have is they’re 75 miles from my house…
