It was good but not great. Our server was pleasant and our order came out quickly. My wife got the Pimento Cheese and Bacon burger. It was supposed to be a 1/3lb but it sure looks like a 1/4. It was overcooked as was the bacon. I had the Chicken Cheesesteak with tots. There were more tots than sandwich. Their ‘lil’ sandwich really lives up to the description. We got a scoop of the custard for the youngster with us and it wasn’t a scoop, it was a tablespoon. So on the whole, expect small overly-cooked portions.

While the hamburgers were good, my daughter’s hotdog looked like it had been boiled way too long. For me, the shrimp plate was not the best. Instead of Texas toast, I got a toasted hamburger bun bottom, and the cole slaw came in a 2 oz condiment cup. Both the tots and shrimp were fried beyond golden brown. They look lighter in the photo than the actual color.

There is 3 people working on Friday night. We order and wait to see the lady finally stop talking to her guy friend long enough to start cooking. An hour in and still no food. The hangout guy friend has his speaker phone on talking over everyone sharing his conversation. I hope the food makes the wait worth it!!! No wander they have lost so much buisness.

Multiple tables were dirty when we came in. Sat at the cleanest but still had food on it. Had to ask to have the table washed. Menus were delivered with dried food on them. The restaurant was moderately busy but when customers left they collected all the disposable table service and never washed a table! They were too busy talking to coworkers. My food was good, but if cleanliness is not important to them I won’t be back. There are too many other good, clean restaurants in the area to chose from.

We like Hwy 55 in general, but this location does not meet expectations. Customer service was non existent, waitresses stayed in the back hanging out with coworkers. At one point we were their only customer on a Friday night. No refills, incorrect orders received, unable to order custard after our meal (as the waitress brought a menu but never came back to take our order), bathroom was very dirty. Please do better.

I ordered the cheese steak with tots and it was the sloppiest most soggy cheesesteak I’ve ever had. It had more onions than meat..with super crunchy tots. Almost over cooked. It was basically an onion sandwich….My hubby ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was a like something you’d get from McDonald’s…his fries were good with ketchup. But all in all the only thing that we’d come back for is their sweet tea and Pepsi!!
