It is a quick place for a sandwich. No frills just an easy menu and good solid service. I recommend if you need to eat quickly and don’t care about the atmosphere. I had a cheese steak with some tater tots. It was good and will be back again.

Terrible.There were only two other tables waiting for service and It took a very long time to have our order taken. It took 30+ minutes to fix three hot dogs with fries and one cheeseburger…we saw our food sitting on the counter for quite some time before we ever received it at the table. And when the food was delivered, we had 2 hot dogs and 2 cheeseburgers. We were missing an order of fries and asked for the hot dog that was missing. Then they still tried to charge us for the missing fries. The buns were cold, and the hot dogs were not good at all. We won’t be back. We did enjoy the painting on the wall. That kept us occupied for the seemingly endless visit.

Had the worst experience in recent memory during my last visit. It took close to 10 minutes for the staff to finally take my order. Although I could have excused that because they had a lot of people waiting to order. This should’ve been my cue to leave if I’d been wiser. After finally placing my order I waited nearly 45 minutes for my food and was about to walk out when the server FINALLY walked up with what should have been a dine in order in a takeout bag. It took all the self control in my body not to reprimand the careless and clueless server. Had I not been so hungry the story might have ended differently.

Ordered food yesterday and it was disgusting. We took 2 bites and the chili was watery. Never encountered a Hwy 55 again. The server Michele was very nice but informed us that the new owner did not allow refunds. Called corporate and was told that they would reach out to the owner because it was privately owned so there wasn’t much they could do. Will be calling my bank because we barely touched the food. Will also b e doing reviews on Facebook. Last night after the eating the food, me and my friend literally was vomiting with severe stomach pains. It was so bad we almost went to ER. It tool us until 200 pm today to recover from the nausea and vomiting. Please be cautious when you go to places. The owner should give a refund

I ordered take out from here after about a year or so of not ordering from them due to a change in ownership and a lot of issues from multiple other people posted on another site. We USED to have good food and interactions here so we thought we’d give it one more chance despite all the negative reviews of the new owner and food quality. However we were severely disappointed right when we got home and opened the meal. We ordered two big cheesesteak meals with fries and a kids chicken tender meal. Over a year ago the food came in a foam container packaged like an actual meal, Sunday the two sandwiches came wrapped in foil that wasn’t even fully enclosed. The fries were wrapped in loose parchment paper not even an actual bag and were falling out as we grabbed them, not a big deal people need to save money whatever, just annoying. The big “cheese” steak included the bare minimum amount of cheese that was only noticeable halfway through. The bread was dry, had barely any meat in them and overall way worse quality than we had over a year ago. The two piece chicken tender meal that was order was eaten by my mom and it gave her food poisoning. Not only her but our two dogs got a bite and both were sick to their stomachs throwing up all the next day. The next day my dad called the manager just to let her know about the situation and that she should maybe check the chicken so it didn’t happen again. He specifically stated he did not want a refund he just wanted to have a conversation. The first response was “well I highly doubt she got it from our food but alright by then if you say so” in a sarcastic monotone voice. The whole time the manger had the nastiest most checked out attitude possible. No customer service skills and over all just not enjoyable to talk to. There was zero aggression from our end of the conversation and the way she handled it was very disgusting to see. We should have listened and never went back but now we know! Hopefully we can save someone else the trip and the nasty attitude from the manager

Cheesesteak is only partially filled and it’s bland. They have skimped to save money compared to before and now you don’t get your money’s worth. It’s a rip off. You use to get a cheesesteak that was so full that you couldn’t pick it up you had to eat it with a fork. The bread is also smaller and not as tasty. Just not something is care to go get anymore and I use to love it.
