This was the first time for my wife and Myself to eat at the new location. The food was excellent and was warm. Much better than old location. Taste was perfect for the shrimp I ordered. The wait staff was very knowledgeable on menu items and what could be swapped and interchangeable. The waitress was very attentive and made sure we didn’t need anything while we ate. The atmosphere was more enjoyable than the old location and the staff had more of a positive and reassuring nature than the other two locations we had tried previously. The only down I have for our visit is the bus bot. I understand the companies want to include more technology and items that cause people to talk to bring in more traffic. If that was the purpose of the robot server I cool with it but if it was to actually work and help the staff. There could be more updates and configuration to the system to make the bus bot more efficient with time. The lady could have brought our food out in mere seconds to where the bot had to stop multiple times to check surroundings and nothing was close to it. It could just be in early stages if it is I apologize. But overall it was a very good experience and meal.

We visited on a Sunday around noontime, one of the most busiest days. It was our first time at the new location. It was a very friendly environment. It was nice to be greeted coming into the doors. The service was exceptional. Even knowing they were busy, they made sure to let you know that they are glad to have your business. Within 5 minutes of being there, we got our order placed, and the server got our drinks. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for our food. The server came around several times to make sure we were OK and if we needed anything. The food was some of the best that I have ever had from a hwy55. (It was better than other locations I have visited in the past) we do not go to Dunn very often, but I will make more trips just to eat at this location again.

Went to dine in and the location was really busy, so we were asked about sitting outside to eat, which was fine. After around 15 minutes with no one coming to take our order and being on a time crunch, I went to ask approximately how long a to-go order would take to see if I had time to wait. I was told around 10 minutes, so I went ahead and placed my order. After 15 minutes, it still wasn’t ready and hadn’t even appeared on the queue yet, so I had to leave and have someone else I was with wait to pick it up for me for later. It still took another 10 minutes for it to be done after I left.

The Burger was hot and good, tater tots barely warm. Had to ask who our waitress was, after sitting there for quite awhile I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the previous site, but this one just doesn’t give you the classic 60’s diner feel.

At this new location they have a robot that carries the food for the servers (basically an automatic moving trey), but it can’t navigate between the tables if someone is sitting in a chair at the end of the table, and since most of the tables can’t sit more than 4-5 people comfortably, the robot is kinda annoying. The interior doesn’t exactly scream “classic diner” so much as almost-but not really-retro. The servers weren’t bad, but our food came out after multiple other tables who ordered after us. All of the fried chicken was over-cooked, and it looked like it was cooked in dirty oil. Very dark. And I ordered a chocolate malt but whoever made it wasn’t very great because it didn’t have that… malt flavor, and there were pockets of plain vanilla ice cream. It wasn’t terrible, all in all, but it was not a great experience.

Service was slow. Took awhile for the server to get our order. I had an hour lunch break but by the time they took the order and brought food I had about 7 minutes to eat before leaving back to work. Food was good. Had to take it to go due to slow service.

Ordered food for my husband and myself at 2:13 pm today. It sounded like they were parting instead of paying attention of what they were doing. Both burgers came out to us stone cold french fry’s and onion rings were cold. Told girl that I wanted hot food. Second time they come out the burgers were hot and onion rings and fry’s were still stone cold. I guess it was the so called manger came to the table told her I would not pay for cold food. The so called manger was the one carrying on the loud laughing and loud talking the whole time. She is not manger material for the other works. This needs to be address along with servicing cold food. This was at the New Hwy 55 in Dunn, NC.

Spent $12 on a burger and fries combo and don’t even get the bacon that was supposed to be on my sandwich twice. Burger seemed like it was sitting around for a while. Update 8/15 Ordered another burger combo today.. didn’t receive the chili that was supposed to come on the burger and it was half inedible due to overcooking. Fries seemed somewhat undercooked. Please train your employees better. Food is way too expensive to be this consistently shoddy in quality.
