Had to pull off 95 North to have my tire repaired and saw this place across the parking lot. Decided to head in and so glad I did. The staff we’re incredibly courteous. They were so willing to serve me. The food came and it was delicious. Even price was great. Great experience thank you all !

They deserve 10 stars. I just recently moved to the area and my grandmother, husband, dad, and mother in law all went to eat here. The service was phenomenal, food was delicious, and everyone was so nice. They were packed and busy, all the staff were working so hard but all of them had a smile on their face and greeted us. My grandmom said their cheesesteak was the best she had in a long time. Worth the visit, we will be back

It was extremely hot in the building in the month of June. I felt so sorry for the employees, who were very nice while working while pouring sweat. The restaurant is dirty, floors were nasty, and the place simply needs upkeep. The food was very good. If it were not for the nice kids who were working, we would have left before eating. Management needs to step up and fix the air condition for the workers as well as your customers. I’m sure the general owner is unaware of how this franchise is representing the brand.

We frequent this location at least once every two weeks and something has changed. Ordered jalapeno cheesesteak and after hunting rooting around good, I didn’t see any. I had to ask for a cup of peppers and I was told something about a new portion control policy. Portion control also applied to my tater tots with much less than I’m accustomed. Also was the combo now coming with small drink cup so we had to run the waitress harder on refills. I think Highway 55 management just customer controlled me to spend my money elsewhere. They are about to embark on building a new restaurant here so they may want to reconsider policies else have many fewer repeat guests.

The wife and I stopped here yesterday on our way from Garner to Laurinburg. We wanted a relatively quick dinner before getting home. I’ve always enjoyed the food and shakes at Hwy 55. As I walked in I was greeted nicely by the staff. Then the stench hit me. I was looking around and was overwhelmed with the filthy floor. It looked like it had NEVER been cleaned. I knew by this time we were not eating there but I needed to go to the bathroom. I was almost overcome by the smell of urine in the bathroom. The one urinal was out of service and filled with I don’t know what. There was a sheet of cellophane (?) across the bowl. I did my business in the toilet. Leaving, I tried not to touch anything. Laurinburg is getting a Hwy 55 restaurant soon and I’m looking forward to it. However, our experience at this location has almost ruined my desire to eat at Hwy 55 again.
