I went to Highway 55 burgers because it was a new establishment and it appeared to be a fast food type place and I was in a hurry. I was originally going to use the drive true but their burgers and cheesesteaks all seem to have an American cheese component with very few of them offering provolone, so after looking at the drive-through menu I decided. Maybe I should go inside and see if I could get my cheesesteak with provolone cheese. This restaurant is kind of a hybrid fast food/ fifties diner type of operation. When you walk in there are 2 bars where you can order your food or you can sit down and wait for a waiter to come out to you.., I ordered the chicken cheesesteak with no green peppers and provolone cheese instead of American cheese. The food had good flavor, and the service was good. But my sandwich came back with green peppers. When the waitress asked me how it looked I told her I see green peppers so she offered to exchange it out for me but I told her no; I was in a hurry. When the bill came it was the usual menu price. Short time later she brought an amended bill out giving me a discount for the messed up order. All in all, I definitely would go back again when I had more time but the whole experience was good.

I went to the drive thru, the lady over the mic was so sweet she couldn’t hear me at first so I had to talk louder but she was understanding when I explained that I had a big order. I ended up getting four meals, each for different people. I was then asked if I wanted it separate and I took that as bagging the burger separate from the rest of the food and I said yes, she then told me that she meant paying separate and I said no, I’ll pay for it all. I was told the amount and I thanked her before driving to the window. 5/5 rating.

Went here for the 1st time yesterday afternoon. Went through drive through. Order taker/window cashier was very nice and with a pleasant personality and very respectful. Yes/No sir……… got a double cheeseburger, and fries, with a lemonade. Also got a 4 piece chicken tenders. While the burger was very tasty, the fries could have used a a little more taste/seasoning of some sort. The chicken tenders, needs major help. While the size of the tenders were nice and big, there was ZERO flavor, other than the grease that they were fried in. Some salt or some sort of seasoning on fries, and a good bit of precooked seasoning on chicken tenders plus a sprinkle of post cooked season, would make this a slam dunk. With those changes and attention to detail, this place could easily be the best option for fast food. Also was pleasantly surprised that the double burger, actually had 4 Patty’s. Was able to make 2 different sandwiches. Def a huge plus. Can’t wait to go back and try more

Stopped on the way back from the coast with my 2 grandsons. They loved their chicken and tots. I got the cheesesteak and it was delicious. I was more impressed with the speed of service, cleanliness and the person who waited on us. I have eaten at andys/hwy55 for years and I am so impressed with the new freestanding locations. Same quality and faster service!
