The only thing good about this place is $3 beers at the bar for happy hour. Most of the food is very disappointing, I think the whalbergs made a mistake partnering with Hy-Vee. A lot of locations don’t have servers anymore either. Not to sure who’s responsible for the new design, but they definitely dragged this restaurant down. This rating is not specifically targeted for this location. This location is actually one of the better ones I’ve seen. Just to make it clear, I’m disappointed with Market grill as a whole, not just this specific location.

First time eating here with the family. Happens to be kid eat free with adult plate (Thursday). Super hospitable servers and managers. Food presentation was more than pleasent to the eyes and tasted just as good. Children enjoyed the magic trick performed by Patrick.

I like the ambiance and the staff were excellent. I’ve eaten here on many different occasions because all the great deals for great food. This day was half off sushi, so I get 2 rolls, 2 that I’ve had many times before. I did not receive those rolls and instead received 2 cold shrimp tempura rolls with sauce over it. The shrimp is usually freshly cooked and has a crisp to them, being they were just fried. These did not. Also, I took advantage of the $12 all you can eat wings deal. The wings were slightly undercooked and left blood in the tray it was in. It could have been a hard day on the cook, it is Easter Sunday, but bloody wings are unacceptable.

Terrible food on my order of I believe was seasoned nachos, the meat used which a terrible tasting burger Patty, that was cut into strips. When I asked the server about it, he indicated that’s how it’s prepared. It was disgusting!!!

All you can eat crab legs for only $29.99! I’m not sure how many clusters I put away but I ate so much that I got crab drunk! Plus 30 craft beers to choose from. Was well worth the 25 mile drive thru a mini blizzard. Can’t wait until the next I can eat my own body weight in crab legs!

This was our first time there with family, my food (8oz sirloin steak with asparagus and broccoli) was perfect, the steak was perfect, didn’t know it came with salt on the asparagus but was still perfect for me. Others in our group had some issues with their food, but the staff and the manager were quick to correct the problem, plus some extras. Truly went above and beyond expectations for the trouble’s we had. For me, totally worth the money! Would recommend! Koodos! If it ain’t right, they’ll make it right so you leave with a full stomach and a smile on your face!

Breakfast Waiter was fine but it took too long to get the order. Only 2 tables with peeps in the join and it took a long time. Kids were not happy. They have a video feed from the kitchen and they had no one cooking. If you can’t find someone to cook time the shut-r-down.

Typically we order from the market grille and it’s been a good experience. I’ve eaten at the Whalburger’s in the Lakeville HyVee and had great food and service. Tonight we went into Whalburger’s in the Shakopee location and sat for 15 minutes before asking if they had wait staff. We were told that they weren’t full service and had to order from the bartender. We asked the bartender for menus. We say for another 20 minutes while she helped other couples that came in shortly after we got our menus. We left and will not be coming back. Terrible service.

The food is always good. We love the Wednesday 1/2 price sushi! It would be nice if they would clear the table of empty dishes when you finish eating, then I would give them a five star rating.
