Our anniversary dinner did not disappoint! The calamari was the best we’ve ever had, our fillets were melt in your mouth, and my husband’s lobster was out of this world. Their sweet gesture with an anniversary card up on arrival was a nice touch, and Jack our server was top notch!! I have one recommendation for an anniversary dessert…maybe a small slice of cheesecake instead of the s’mores. Guests are spending a nice chunk of money when coming in. The dessert was a nice gesture, but not what you would expect coming from this kind of establishment.

Our first time here and it was absolutely delicious. My husband decided to go all out and get the tomahawk steak, and that did not disappoint. The wait staff was nice and welcoming, and the manager made sure our meals were up to par. We even received a complimentary dessert since it was our anniversary.

My wife and I celebrated out wedding anniversary here on July 18 – it was our first time here and it was a fantastic decision. Our waitstaff was just the best, the food was fairly priced and excellent. We both ordered the Steak Zetterberg (a Wagyu Filet Mignon) – it was cooked and seasoned absolutely perfect! I’ve been to a several top-rated steakhouses in my years, and this was really one of the best. We finished with the Flaming Butter Cake (covered with Bananas Foster/vanilla bean)…words cannot describe how good this was!

I’m going to leave this restaurant four stars and the majority of the positive star rating is from the service, the atmosphere, hospitality, and the overall feel of being at a high class restaurant. So when you think of Hyde Park you think of a steakhouse as it’s in the name. I have to say the steak was good and perfectly cooked but the flavor was not great and the sauce they brought for in my opinion was less than desirable. If I was looking for a really good steak I’d go elsewhere. But if I wanted to take someone out to impress them or customers to have an upscale atmosphere and hospitality, this will be the place.

Went to celebrate a birthday dinner, food was great, big portions, Service was great, Atmosphere was calm, wasn’t that busy, ordered medium rare steak, but next time will go full well done, other places tend to overcook it when I order well done. We got a complimentary cake for the occasion on the house.

Very nice experience for my birthday. Great cocktails and wine selection. I ordered the Steak Daly (22 oz Porterhouse) which, though very delicious and cooked perfectly, was a little disappointing because the ‘filet’ portion was literally a bite and half worth of meat. It almost looked like the filet portion had been cut out or cut in half and I was just given a glorified strip steak with a bone. I’d hoped for far more out of an $86, 22oz steak. Delicious nonetheless and a nice treat for special occasions.

Took a client out to dinner here, and the food was on point. What elevates Hyde over other steakhouses is the service — Anthony was our server and he was fantastic. Took our coats, menu recommendations, very well-versed in wine, and even went back for a bag one of us had forgotten inside after closing. Hyde seems to treat their staff well and is my new favorite for business dinners 🙂
