My family and I tried I Heart Mac & Cheese, in Highland Village, TX for the first time. I guess maybe our expectations were a little high. Overall I think this is a good place if you want a quick bite, the concept of the place is great. I recommend trying it for yourself, keep in mind that you may spend more than you bargained for. My bill came out to be $70.69 for four adult meals, a kids meal and four fountain drinks.

I had the Buffalo Blue Mac & Cheese with grilled chicken and it was just okay. I expected more flavor! The Best Of Both Worlds grilled cheese was better but I still wasn’t blown away. I’ll give it another try but I wanted AMAZING Mac & Cheese!!

Love the concept. It’s like chipotle but for mac and cheese and grilled cheese. I got the lobster grilled cheese and the chicken parmesan mac and cheese and both were delicious. I appreciate that they didn’t put the truffle sauce ON the sandwich… that’s one of those things where you either love it or hate it. Next time I’ll be doing a build your own grilled cheese using mac and cheese and lobster, yum!

The mac and cheese was ok, for the price I consider that it’s sufficient food but it lack flavor. I had to go home and add more spices because the cheese sauce just tasted like nothing. However, yesterday there was a little surprise hair in my meal. I had to throw it away and pick up something different. I was extremely unsatisfied by this, regardless of the lack of flavor, the hair really takes the cake. I’d rather make my own than waste my money in a place like this if my food isn’t even good and the staff can’t even be aware of their own head when they make the meal that I’m paying for.

I was super excited to try this place…after all, I love Mac and cheese. Unfortunately, it was not good at all. The noodles were hard, barely any cheese. Honestly, my custom Mac and cheese bowl and my husbands signature bowl Were both really bland. I would have preferred to save $44 and eat Mac and cheese out of the box. Will not be back.

We ordered lobster Mac and several other items and all we ice cold not even temped but cold under cooked and not edible. 74 dollars worth and. The didn’t even fulfill the deserts and charged full price . Will never consider ordering there again . Sonic had a better grilled cheese sandwich and velveta singles would have tasted better . Definitely not with the waste of time .

Everything was absolutely delicious! There are so many options that i was overwhelmed but the staff was very kind and helpful! They checked up on us a lot and really valued us as customers! We got custom sandwiches and they were so good! I will be back for more!!! Great for people who love cheese! We were so hungry and started eating before we could take pics haha

We went in and the lady at the front does not speak English which is fine as long as you know the menu which she did, we ordered the lobster Mac and cheese and the regular as well. The first bite my husband took was cold lobster which I’m not sure is even safe, but also flavorless pasta, we had to use google translate for her to understand what was going on and she had to call the owner to approve a refund which was given in cash. The lady was nice but could tell was slightly annoyed with the fact we didn’t want her to just remake it and that she had to call the owner. Lobster was like heated up rubbery trash quality seafood that would have definitely made my husband sick. Also it was 20.99 for the lobster pasta compared to the normal which was the same thing without the lobster which was 8.99, I do not recommend it and I definitely won’t be going back. I honestly don’t know how they are still open with the quality of the Mac and cheese being a Mac and cheese dominate business.

I had hopes for this place because of all the TikTok and FB videos about the Mac and Cheese place in Waco, TX. I was excited to find something similar closer to me but trust me I will make the 1.5 hr drive to Waco before I ever return here. This was the most tasteless, dry food I have ever had. I even took my son with me and he thought it was gross. I asked the girl working there what she recommended and she said the Best of Both World’s Grilled Cheese, basically macaroni and cheese sandwich with barbecue meat. The only part of that sandwich that had any flavor was the bread. The girl working was super sweet and I would give her 5 stars but her family from out of town came in and stood at the counter talking to her the whole time really loud. They did not even buy anything, literally just stood there and talked about the need to wear sunscreen in Texas, that she likes boats, and has a lot of friends with boats. I don’t know how you mess up mac and cheese but this place has definitely figured out how to do that. Oh and don’t ever get the tator tots as a side, if you get the meal they literally taste like flavorless cardboard. I am pretty sure card board actually taste better.
