So like always I try to give both positive/negative when I review places. This place reminds me of a hidden gem or hole in the wall spot (where you think it won’t be great and it turns out to be pretty amazing). FOOD & SERVICE IS GREAT (expect to spend $12-$18 per person). We got the catfish meal, chicken tender meal and okra (which is getting hard to find) and a waffle. Everything we got had great taste and flavor. The negatives is the parking area is not as big and can be a challenge getting out of it busy. There’s also a smell that smacks you as you walks in if your not expecting it, it can be a little overwhelming. Push through though cause the service and food is well worth it. They also have arcades and toy machines. DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND STOPPING AND EATING HERE! They also do delivery and pickup orders.

wasn’t sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic. Best waffles I have ever had. The fried chicken was freshly made. The Mac and cheese, collard greens, fried okra, red beans and rice were all full of flavor. We were able to meet the lovely owners of this fine restaurant and what lovely people they are. All around great food and experience.

The overall experience was just okay, nothing really special about the waffles, and the proportions for the chicken tenders were kinda small for the price, but other than that the Mac and cheese was great i loved how they added pepper and covered the whole Mac and cheese with cheese, not just a top layer of it. The customer service was great i felt very welcomed. The diner itself could be improved but it wasn’t anything terrible. Overall it was a decent place to eat at, i wouldn’t go out of my way to drive over here but if i am in the area i will probably come back to try their fried chicken.

Tried this place 3 times and this will definitely be my last. It just keeps getting worse and worse. This last time I ordered thru Uber eats. Food came late, cold, flavorless. I ordered the catfish dinner with fries and hushpuppies, I received no hush puppies. I ordered lemonade and was given soda. I also ordered a waffle and was given no syrup. And the drinks came in containers for sides, not cups. All bad!

Interesting little whole in the wall. Excellent atmosphere and very friendly staff. It was around a 20 minute wait for food. I got the 2 chicken 3 waffle plate. The chicken was absolutely amazing, nice and crunchy. The waffle I thought was a little on the soft side for my liking. I also got fired okra for a side and that was perfect. Definitely going back again but going to ask to get the waffle well done. Wish they had a house hot sauce too.

This place is so good! The chicken is fried to perfection and seasoned generously. The hostess and servers are extremely polite, warm, and welcoming. I wanted to order more after my meal. I’ll definitely be returning!

I got the Chicken Shrimp and Sausage Gumbo I’m use to having crabs with mines but man you didn’t need the crabs with their Gumbo. I can tell everything was made from scratch and it had okra in it I definitely will be getting it again. Love how they keep the place clean definitely a place to dine in with friends or family or take out. Staff has always been outstanding. I recommend this place oh and of course the chicken and waffles are great. I’ve always loved their sides.

Definitely go! Fair warning, don’t go close to close, the run out of food. I got there around 6:15pm. I wanted 4 piece wings and waffle and a 4 piece 3 wings and a breast and waffle. Cashier said they only had legs and thighs. So I got 2 orders still. 5 mins later, the chef came out, tired, then said they only had legs. I was even more disappointed, but this lady offered to actually go to the store and get more chicken if I was willing to wait! Now that made me feel special and that’s the kind of service that is rare! I told her the legs were fine. She even gave me 2 extra. I also loved the greens and mac n cheese sides. They ran out of desserts, unfortunately. So like I said, go early for more choices.
