It’s fresh. That’s the deal w this place. Can’t go wrong with fresh. That being said, over in the East side of Tacoma where they’re at, I can’t say they’re able to compete with other establishments for authentic Mexican flavor, but that’s not the angle if this taco truck at all. If you want something closer to authentic that’s comparable in price, Super Taco Bus has great flavor. Taco Guaymas is has great salsa and huge portions for burritos. Vuelve a la Vida has one if the best burritos around. Although more flavor, I do not recommend El Rinconsito over this for truck, even with more menu items. The food there is always hit or miss and does not taste fresh like these guys. Most places probably won’t be this fresh.

Ordered chicken tacos, the chicken tasted as though they boiled it and it had no flavor. The salsa had no flavor at all, just heat. The rice tasted like it was made in a rice cooker and it was all stuck together. The beans tasted like they were from a can. Would not recommend and never going back. I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but it is not. You can find out for yourself if you’d like. This was in Puyallup and guaranteed any of you can make this better at home.

Ordered a Burrito that had very little flavor, meat was scarce. The Burrito they advertise is way smaller when you order it. The 2 young lady’s that were in the truck were rude. Btw as an L.A native this was no where near close to L.A food…..

Jalapeños were perfectly grilled, and they give you well proportioned onion and cilantro with the perfectly cooked hot meat. The green and red sauces were both the most flavorful I’ve ever had, they weren’t all bland and watery like most places serve. The corn tortillas held together and weren’t all greasy and falling apart. We will be back again!

Heard a lot about this place from my co-worker, sad to say I’m not very impressed with the food.

Who Dat Boi Who Dis Is
Ordered from doordash, I got a Carne asada quesadilla and a Carne asada fries. Quesadilla had a good amount of cheese to meat ratio and the fries are a good portion. Other than that I wouldn’t eat this again. WHERE IS THE FLAVOR??? It’s bland, point blank period. Even with cholula hot sauce, it’s still not good. The fries have a weird texture and taste to them, like they haven’t been washed and where fried in old oil. Guacamole is runny and bland. Two stars for portion size.
