Was greeted as we walked in, service was amazing and food was even better! Got the ribs, Mac n cheese and greens! Peach cobbler was to die for! Tyrone kept checking on us too, he’s so nice and so were the ladies! The cookie was yummy too thanks Tyrone!

I don’t usually leave reviews for places cause I don’t go out to eat much, but I worked right next to this spot and know first hand it’s definitely good. Their brisket is my favorite, but their greens are next to my grams greens(they’re that good). Their Mac is also good, but I’m used to a baked mac with the crispy cheese or bread crumbs for topping. However the creaminess of the mac and the pepper make this mac cheese super delicious. The hot links are also super good, and I love their mustard BBQ sauce. Over all, I say this place is a 10/10 between the food and awesome employees. I’ve definitely recommended it to the locals I know, it’s a hidden gem

Best Southern BBQ Restaurant I’ve ever had ! We came on a Sunday so we had a chance to order Beef Ribs. Those Ribs were tender and well seasoned. We ordered the mixed meat meal so we got a chance to taste the wings as well. I highly recommend eating here. The food and customer service made me want to do my review while I was eating. The portions were of considerable size. The price point was a great value for money. The food was super fresh and my wait time was shorter than expected for a full course. La Mesa, you have a hidden gem, every time I visit San Diego I will eat at this Southern BBQ Restaurant.

Was told IQ is a must try by a good friend. Mac n cheese with brisket was very good. The brisket burnt ends were delicious. Can say IQ was very friendly and return to discover more of the menu..p.s. pistachio cake and cobbler are a must

I-Que-BBQ is a must have BBQ place. If you are ever in the area do yourself a favor and get a tasty cut of meat done the right way by this small but quaint establishment. It’s hard to find a place that does Mesquite smoked BBQ the right way. The balance between the smoke, the BBQ sauce, and the meat itself is top notch here and can’t be rivaled by any other place in San Diego. Located in a small strip mall within a stone’s throw from the 94 and 125, it could be easy to miss this gem if you happen to be driving down the road.

Had a long week and made an impromptu stop at I.Que BBQ. Great Choice! Nice menu options and friendly service. We dined in, great atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and lemon pound cake.
