Picked up some chicken Pad Thai for lunch today at the iAsia in the Cocoplum Village Shops. The dish itself had decent flavor but chicken pieces inside it were scant. The side of fried rice had absolutely no taste even though with the veggies in it it looked like it should have flavor. Service was fast and friendly and my lunch came with a can of soda for a little over $9.

Today I took a 40 minute drive (20 minutes each way) to have sushi here. I used to come here quite often but it’s been awhile. I wanted sushi and iasia came to mind. I really didn’t ant to make the trip but i figured I’d do it because I’ve always been a a satisfied in the past. I ordered when I was about 10 minutes away. I get there pay for my food drive back to work no problem. Lunch hr is just about over. I take a bite and let’s say there was nothing appealing about it. That’s me being nice. Called back to let them know in the nicest way possible that I was displeased. This is where the grievances begin. A gentleman gets on the phone to talk in circles for another 10 minutes to basically tell me he doesn’t care about my complaints, and he’s not offering to settle this in any other way than transaction is final. I worked food service for 6 years. Although it was a 5 star restaurant and this would never have never happened. GUESTS should never be treated this way. Especially returning GUEST. Wish this turned out better. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

I would never went to the place if I knew that food in the plastic containers, plates…, half self-service with must pay in advance. Food definitely not for those who knows what is good quality Thai food or Japanese. Rolls were decorated with mayo although it wasn’t written in the menu.

I have loved their moo goo gae, pan until yesterday. Could not eat all if it so brought remainder home. When I was eating it last night I pulled out 2 brown 6 inch hairs! I thought I was going to be sick! How/why did this happen??

Updated years later… Forgot I had reviewed them after an early experience here. Wanted to come back and update my review to 5 stars after many more meals of both Japanese and Chinese food. They’ve been consistently good. My biggest complaint is the fairly small selection of sushi, but what they make is always good.

This is by far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had! It was like eating dog food patė. I’ve had better sushi at a gas station at 3am. There is a makeshift fort made of shower curtain liners across the check-out area. They put your bags in a plastic bin and then push that through so then the customer opens the other side of the plastic bin to take their food. Even the fortune cookie told me to eat healthier. I wish I were joking about this place.

The food was good, alot of flavor and quality in freshness. Only thing I didn’t like that everything was served on foam plates and foam bowls but other then that it was good.
