Stopped in for a light meal. Was actually looking for crawfish but they are out of season in August. We were greeted immediately. The bartender is pleasant. The fresh shucked and chargrilled oysters were good. The gumbo was good. I had two cups! It was a little soupy and didn’t have any bell peppers or onions in it but it was still good. The presentation is nice too. Check this place out!

The food was amazing! I’ve tried quite a few restaurants in New Orleans and this one really got it right. I ordered the Shrimp Alfredo and I dare say it was the best one I have ever had! It was a perfect example of cajun cooking (flavorful without being too salty.) Moreover, the shrimp alfredo comes with a crab cake in the middle that was so good! Omg that whole dish was drool worthy!

This place was recommended to us while visiting for a Girl’s Trip in New Orleans. The food is excellent. We had the gumbo, crab cakes, grits (the best I’ve ever had), and asparagus (seasoned to perfection). Please visit this restaurant. The service is amazing. The chef came out to meet us! I want to try everything on the menu! We will be back.

Had a group of 12 looking do a place to eat. Found this place on a side street, it was empty and they were happy to seat us. Kitty was our server and they were great!!! The food however was just ok. I got the Cajun fries and gumbo. The fries were good the crawfish sauce was yummy, but the fries were soggy so didn’t hold up well. The gumbo was a mess!! The first bite had a nice bit of rice in too and was great but after that first bite I discovered all sorts of inedible additions. I pulled out 8 bay leaves and a whole half of a crab body with several legs. The broth flavor was good but with all the inedible material and the very narrow cup made it extremely difficult to eat. More rice and less shell would have made this better. Of our whole group the food seemed to be hit or miss the best enjoyed items were the shrimp and grits and plain grits.
