On first sight this place doesn’t look like much, but once you’ve tried their fries, you’ll be hooked. Burgers are simple but good quality with great flavor. My vanilla shake was perfect texture and just the sweet, cold treat on a 100°afternoon. Just beware, they only accept cash and they can get really busy so you’ll have to wait a bit. Totally worth it in my opinion.

Delicious burgers and malt shakes!!! This is such a fun place to stop for a bite. They are cash only, and every burger is made fresh so it’s not as quick as fast food but so much tastier! The malts are delicious as well. I 100% recommend stopping here if you have the time!

We go from Yuba City to Chico area 2 to 3 times a month. Always make Ice Burger a stop. Great shakes (especially milkshake Mondays) and fries are great and they give you a lot. Their mushroom burger is always great also. The ladies who work there are always friendly and give speedy service.

The food is always great. The service is slow, because the food is so good they are busy cooking it fresh. It is worth the wait. You can call ahead. Most people take it to go. The staff are so nice.

Love the food. And the spot. I know my mom started taking me there when I was a child, as early the seventies. My mom has been going there since she was a little girl. Not sure how long that place has Ben around. I believe it is a historical landmark for Gridley.

Burgers, hotdogs, milkshakes and more. The wait is a little longer than “fast food”, but it’s always made to order. Your food is never from a warmer. They offer special flavored sodas during the holiday season. The quality of food is always consistent. There’s a lot to love about this “hole in the wall” drive-in.
