This place has a few bad reviews which made me nervous waiting for my food but once the food arrived, I was happy. I got their beef hibachi which was delicious. The meat was tender and seasoned well. It’s actually pretty good meat. It came with cabbage and rice which was perfect to go with the really well seasoned and yummy beef sauce. Would order this again! There are only two tables to sit at, decide to eat in the restaurant and there were people in and out it constantly, seems like a popular place.

Half of the brisket was amazing. The other half was entirely fat and gristle. With the amount of oil in the broth in addition to this, I paid $12 for for a ramen bowl that underperformed a 30 cent Maruchan. The 2 stars are because the brisket, when you did get meat, was really good. The service is fast. Just not worth $12. Try something less expensive first if you want to give them a try.

I placed on order online for two separate dishes, with two separate sauces, and when the food arrived it was all poured into a single plastic bag. Because of this the food, while edible, tasted awful so I had to throw it all away. I called the restaurant, left a sharply worded message with my number asking that they call back but they never did.

So this is the closest thing I can get to a low country boil. I am from the south. Ordered here today asked for a whole pound of shrimp, told them it was my first time, they gave me a half portion, found out when I got home. When I called it seemed apparent they knew. I said I have had many of plates and this isn’t anywhere near a pound. I drove back for the other half pound ordered something else and was given almost $2.00 off for my troubles(even though I had to drive back and forth 20 min each time).. Taste was eh. I tried to order onion rings they were out, no French fries, not too big of a selection. Just wish it would have been worth it.

Very delicious food, with significantly large portions, even for takeout, and a comparitively quick wait time in my experience. Nice decor and easy layout for quick pickup for food on the go, friendly and straightforward staff. Menus even right outside door for ease of choice, and well priced food for such quality and portion.

Everything I’ve tasted from this place from roommate is amazing. It is a hard location to travel to from off campus. SJ tells about his work and personal mission to keep place cleaner than any restaurant, and I’ve worked in allot of restaurants. Kudos to SJ(Dec ’19)
