I really enjoy visiting this restaurant at lunchtime as their lunchtime sushi deals are very nicely priced for the portions you get. I tried the Crazy Shrimp Roll today with some fried calamari and both were great!

This is my second time getting sushi from Ichiban and its been great both times!! Quick service; I ordered online for pick up and my order was ready within 5 minutes! I’ve gotten the spicy shrimp and California roll! So yummy!!

Best and only real Japanese restaurant in town, IMHO. Great service, my wife finally had good chicken katsu she has been craving. I agree with other reviewers that the spicy tuna roll isn’t the greatest. The other rolls were the Alaska and shrimp tempura/avocado rolls, they were much better. I am grumpy about most restaurant prices nowadays, but that’s the new world of inflation and post-COVID. We will definitely return, this restaurant deserves to succeed, Sanford can be a tough town to survive in!

I can only vouch for the “spicy” tuna and eel + avocado roll $14.86 tax included. – Very lower-mid level sushi served with the most gas-station grade wasabi and pickled ginger I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

High quality Japanese food. Great sushi, lots of flavor and fresh. Bento box was great and lots of food! Now I won’t have to travel to Raleigh or Apex anymore for good Japanese food. Service was fast and polite.
